Yes, mostly because the fast PSP emulator came out. Actual levels were shit and small. The bosses were decently fun, the tank and helicopter ones are pure grind shit, the outer ops felt more involved, and the side ops had some interesting/fun missions. Really sad TPP had shitty side content.

Almost got it to 100%. Really enjoyed all the Pure Stealth and wacky missions, especially Monster Hunter. Fun ass game and great for portable standards (I played on 360 and PS3 though), but it's severely overrated among fans. When people overrate PW I tend to think they started at 3 or later.

For the record, my order goes
2>3>1>>>>>>>PW>4=5

4 could've been better than PW if the whole game was designed like Acts I, II, and IV. I put 4 equal to 5, but they excel in completely opposite areas. They both feel incomplete for totally different reasons.

I liked Peace Walker more than 4 as well but loved TPP. I felt like most of the shortcomings of PW were adressed in V.

V did address a lot of issues, but also missed out on a lot of the charm that PW nailed. PW also paid at least some respect to the canon. For the record, I did enjoy V immensely, I put in about 200 hours and maybe 50 more in the multiplayer (totally worse than the first 2 MGOs), but I just can't see it as anything other than the most underwhelming canon game. My father also died unexpectedly about a month and a half after release so I kinda hate everything around that period anyway.
