What are some good PS2 games?

It's like one big Zelda dungeon.

Okay, but what are some good PS2 games that don't have superior versions on other platforms and aren't know about by literally everyone here already?

Ico
Shadow of the Colossus
MGS2 and 3
Okami
Jak and Daxter
Ratchet and Clank

God of War
Dragon Quest
>Mario is 6th
How will Nintendo ever recover. Also it's cool that the DBZ game made the top ten, it looks great.
>>380934998
>Spider-man is 7th
How will Sony ever recover. feel bad that marvel wanted this to actually be GOTY.
>>380934998
You guys see why EA will never die now?
Holy fuck people have such shit taste...
>>380935290
I also thought Spider-Man was in a pretty lackluster position considering how heavily it was pushed.
Name a more tragic, complex and interesting character in any GTA game.

People say he isn't because they automatically think "Lol russians aren't people!" Niko is a fucking legend who does not take bullshit

>Ist made on the same engine as Twisted Dreams
>Starfox games fail both with and without their creator involved
Were the original and 64 just lightning in a bottle? Is there nothing Nintendo can do to recapture those?
>>380934802
I don't think so. I think the problem is:
>Starfox Adventures literally not a starfox game
>Starfox Assault was the completely linear addition of Starfox games
>Starfox Zero had absolute dogshit controls and had the same amount of content.
If they had come out with a new Starfox (now is too late they can't be trusted) game that had MORE content than 64 and had more choices (see Super Mario World 96 exits for example) and made better use of the secondary ships (tank, submarine, etc.) then I think people would care and would enjoy it.
Cuz look at the jump from original to 64
>6 levels from original up to more than double in 64
>More ships without hindering the gameplay, it stays almost identical but with some caveats
That's all they had to do to make people love it. But they sort of forgot how to make a good Starfox game it seems.
>>380934802
It wouldn't be that hard to recapture the Star Fox crowd, and with the Switch they could release the definitive space shooter for the console by removing the terrible controls and going back to the on rails system. Add in a couple extra galaxies with all new bosses and on planet routes to increase replayability

When did he say this?
So I know the first one is pretty gay, but will I like the second one and Birth by Sleep if i'm looking for a good platformer?
>>380934674
Second one is even gayer though. BBS has a playable female but there's still a fair amount of homosexuality.
>>380934674
Kh was never about plataforming not even during kh1
>>380934803
>Second one is even gayer though
By gay I mean that scene where Sora is dressed as a mermaid and singing. Anything like that in the second one? The Steamboat Willie world looks cool.

Nintendo turned them into a rehash studio.

Did anyone else realize they completely butchered the online mode? Not even talking about latency or netcode. I mean the points system of Mario Kart Wii. In Mario Kart Wii you could get 9999 points, I believe, and you started with like 5000. You always got around 200 points or so when winning with 5000 points and around 20 when winning with like 9500 points. When you lost with like 9000 points, you also lost a lot of points, maybe even around 200 or so.
Now with Mario Kart 8 you can get fucking 99999 points and it takes ages to get there. And you barely even lose ANY points when losing with like 20000 points. I just saw some French autist losing online and he barely lost any points.
They completely killed the system. It was motivating as fuck in the Wii version. Now it's fucking garbage. Only the most autistic retard will aim for the points cap and losing isn't punishing anymore.
There's basically no aim at all in this online mode except for the game itself, and the game itself simply isn't deep, satisfying and motivating enough.

How can Mario games have such amazing level design but awful boss battles?
>>380933974
I wouldn't say those are awful, just not particularly memorable.

Why haven't you won a match yet?
I don't buy fotm multiplayer games.
Because I keep choking and making dumb decisions when I get into the top 10. I want my fucking chicken dinner.

But you do post irrelevant anime pics so you're no better if not actually worse ;)
Just a reminder, everything Mario Odyssey is doing, the Banjo series did earlier.
Controlling a T-Rex? Banjo-Tooie
Controlling enemies? Banjo-Tooie (bottle's revenge)
Making fun of Mexicans? Banjo-Kazooie
Does Nintendo have ANY original ideas?
>>380933285
>Does Nintendo have ANY original ideas?
Does anybody have original ideas at all anymore?
Tell me an original idea go ahead.
>>380933285
Yeah but I'm sure Mario will handle it a million times better.
The transformations in banjo were awful since they were nothing more than glorified switches and usually had worse abilities for combat and traversal because it was suppose to be a challenge to navigate as a shit character.
Meanwhile mario is going the opposite way and making the ability to play as anything in the game useful in more than one way, while some seem like a glorified switch still like the stone mario.
