Ok /v/,quick question: What went wrong?
no backpat
Hardware. They should have waited a year or two, it was released way too early.
Also the userbase, but that's not really sony's fault.
userbase
also the should have waited and release the Pro directly.
Why are the only anti-piracyfags on all of 4chan here? Perhaps the producers are paying shills to decry it, hmm?
Verily activates thy cranium
Because pirates are annoying faggots who do nothing but virtue signal when in reality nobody would care if they would just shut the fuck up about it
>>381791664
chan's been filled with LITERAL shills ages ago.
>>381791664
they must justify their purchase when others others get it for free
if voice actors can unionized and go on strike, does that mean devs should too?
>>382045293
>copy paste devs deserve more money
xd
>$450 million is somehow not enough.
>13.5 million dollars to say "enemies top floor!" "Blyat!" "Ramirez"!
Yeah fuck off
Anyone else feel off about buying pixel games on PS4? I'm wondering if its just me. I mean, I'm not saying they're bad or anything, most are really good, but for some reason a console that totes itself on "HIGH DEFINITION GRAPHICS" having 8-bit/16-bit pixel games seems... off.
They feel more at home with 3DS, PC and even switch, since those consoles actually sell retail Pixel-art based games, but when the majority of the PS4 is 3D modeling and 3D worldbuilding, Something like a Terraria port seems silly and outdated
Hand-drawn/3D Indies however are fine, they fit in with the era, and they usually have a lot of art direction and work put into them - Skullgirls, Heart and Slash, Transistor, Furi, Don't Starve, Darkest Dungeon, etc.
Which is why right now I'm conflicted about picking up Undertale, because I want a physical, but I don't want it on PS4...
Sounds like autism. Also don't buy Cave Story Plus for it is a bad 'remaster' okay okay.
>>381792342
Pretty much this. It reminds me of the same autism people had concerning Yooka-Laylee on non Nintendo products.
>It would feel right.
>>381792342

Why would I play a game on the PS4 that works perfectly fine in a mobile form factor? That just doesn't make any sense
If you don't RP as a Paladin in rpgs you are a degenerate heretic.
>>381791156
Maybe I'm tired of RPing Paladins and want a change of pace. What now?

>Butthurt lawfags telling others what to do
Go away, rogue/berserker all the way.
Why did people go so crazy over this game 5-6 years ago? I'm playing through it right now and I honestly can't see what's so mindblowing about it.
The story and characters are entertaining and the production values are pretty good, but my problems with the game are elsewhere.
>Characters feel like they're gliding/sliding on the floor instead of running
>Really bad camera
>Shallow battle system that doesn't change much from hour 2 onwards (Break, Topple, Daze and maybe throw in a Chain or two here and there repeat x10000)
>Most combat in the game consists of just spamming your skills as they come off cooldown
>Clunky menus
>Shallow character growth system. Only 3 stats, very limited skill trees that allow for no real customization
>Stats in the game are also badly designed. A monster just 2 levels above you has a huge advantage over you due to how badly they fucked up stat growth. This makes the game's balance extremely polarizing where (generally) if you overlevel just a little bit you'll blow through the game without even trying, and if you're underleveled even a little bit you'll get wrecked.
Everything related to gameplay feels straight out of a shitty, early PS2 JRPG. Why did this game get such a big pass from reviewers?
no one wants to talk about xenoblade?
I think you already know the answer. The game's strengths are pretty clear.
>at least above-average story
>amazing setting
>interesting, one-of-a-kind environments
>interesting things to find, with reasonable experience incentives
>visions of the future are a fun feature of the battle system
>great soundtrack
>great voice acting
Many of your complaints are legitimate, but you'd have to be blind not to see why this game is well-liked.
I haven't seen anyone really praise the battle system that much, it's serviceable but nothing spectacular. The praise comes from the world design and the openness, mostly. Understand that we were coming off of Final Corridor XIII.
How can Nintendo save Star Fox?
They tried, and failed.
It just can't be fixed.
They can't
That bitch you posted? Ditch her. Never ever bring her back.
Thats a good start.
How did we go from this...
...to this?
One is designed by the west, the other by the east.
I'll gladly take >>381790543
Over this

How many games?
Some of you might call me a shill for this, but I just wanted to get this information out there.
You can use the 8bitdo controllers on your switch as pro controllers!!!!!!
>>382044839
Wait, really?
That's a cool design, but how does it feel?
>>382044839
You already shilled this earlier today.

Every fucking time. Getting sick of these csgo smurfs
Me
>>381598429
Explain the hate for people with private profiles, I don't understand it. I don't have an anime avatar but I do have a private profile because I don't want random faggots looking through my things.
So now that the dust has settled,
Why did Cloud go to the anti-racist dentist?
