So who won?
>>383700575
It was a draw until Sypha had enough, then you could argue whether or not that counts as a win for Trevor.
>>383700798
>implying any of them actually could damage Alucard
>>383700575
>beating his ass with the ass with the whip
>fighting him to a draw with swords
>his waifu ready to blast alucard in the fucking head
Belmont shit on Alucard, it's no contest.
Would /v/ ever go to a vidya bar?
I'd like too but it's probably expensive as fuck.
>>383700305
been to one and it was shit.
theres weird laws in my region about having gaming and alcohol in the same place in regards to gambling licences.
>>383700305
>>383700442
What's the point of a gamer bar? there would only be dudes or fugly wales
What would removing net neutrality mean for video games?
Would piracy come to a complete halt?
>>383699745
Decreased regulation -> more competition -> lower prices
Good for gaming overall
Piracy and torrenting might take a hit but that's honestly a good thing.
>>383700404
>but that's honestly a good thing.
No it's not. How am I gonna get my never translated, only sold in Japan, H games?
>>383700404
>Decreased regulation -> more competition -> lower prices
/pol/ can you not give republican talking points ad nauseum even when they dont fit, its embarassing
None of you know true depression. The depression of knowing that the video game industry you use to know is gone. None of these developers make games for the gamer anymore. They don't make them for the people who grew up in the nes through the n64 era. We don't get classics like Mario 3, Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid, Crash, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong, Sonic, Ninja Gaiden, OG Mario Parties, Mana series, and a bunch of other games that are too many to count that arent even made anymore.
Nowadays, it's about instant gratification, DLC, cinematics, and passive gameplay. That old passion and game design is gone, and won't be coming back for a long time.
ok bro

Nice blog where do I upvote

Metroid thread. Ready for Metroid 2 remake? Ready for Prime 4? What are you hope change up with Prime 4 since Retro isn't working on it.
>Ready for Metroid 2 remake?
I couldn't be any more ready than I am! I can hardly wait! I can hardly thinkg about anything BUT Samus Returns!
>Ready for Prime 4
Me personally, I prefer Prime over traditional Metroid. But with developement JUST having started, it's easier for me to wait for Prime 4 than it is to wait for Samus Returns. Samus Returns feels like it's just around the corner...!
>What are you hope change up with Prime 4 since Retro isn't working on it.
I hope whoever will make Prime 4 matches the artstyle of the original Prime trilogy at least to a certain degree. I don't want Prime 4 to look like Other M or like Super Metroid from the first perspective. Apart from that, I am really excited to see a Prime game from a whole-new dev team. Also that means that we'll getting a Retro Studios game in addition to a new Prime game. Which is awesome.

>Two new One Piece games are in the making
One is a Playstation VR One Piece game.
The second one is an unknown title with the codename "Dawn"
>Unprecedented One Piece Game (Platforms Unknown)
>The game is code-named “Dawn” and is being developed in collaboration between Shueisha, Toei Animation, and Bandai Namco.
>It is an “unprecedented One Piece game.” (In other words, it has not been done before.)
>It is a game with an unheard of, super new feeling.
>The original author, Eiichiro Oda, is cooperating on development.
>Planning and conception is taking quite some time.
>It’s an enormous game. The setting and music from the anime are being poured into the game.

Who's ready for One Piece BOTW edition?
>>383696970
...Eiichiro Oda was involved heavily in all the Unlimited games, Unlimited Adventure was the one with the least involvement because he didn't create a new character or write out the plot outside of a rough outline.
Don't get your hopes up, expect more of the same.
That being said the Unlimited series is a pretty good series till you get to the end game and then they just become a slog.
I don't want it to be Open World Trash.
>>383696970
I honestly would have liked PW4 or Burning Blood 2 instead of an open world game.
I guess this guy was speaking some truth... or was Ulysses a jab at the players just wandering aimlessly, killing shit and doing quests as they go along?
what was this guy's endgame?
>>383696317
A mouth piece for the writers about how the Fallout world has to end, otherwise you get stupid shit like Fallout 3 and 4.
>>383696684
>has to end
in nuclear destruction?
I had a hard time deciding who to blow up at first
>>383696751
That's because you are a fucking dipshit and too dumb to understand simple words.
DRM is not bad, so long as it doesn't affect the paying customer, yes. Some DRM does, and thats the bad kind. For a long time DRM got increasingly harsh while still failing to actually stop anyone. Then Denuvo fucked all the pirates while not hurting paying customers for a good while and everyone laughed at the thieves crying about how they are entitled to steal games, but then that got cracked so the good times ended. The future now is probably always online connections, like MMOs are, which really sucks.
Thanks pirates. Kindly go fuck yourselves
>>383696012
>always online connections, like MMOs are

I bet you've pirated music, movies or TV shows before.

Snake didn't have a beard in mgs3?
It the PSP/Vita still of use? Is it still worth buying one? Are there any games worth this portable console?
google the psp and vita library and if you can find at least 5 games you would play then yes it's worth it. this applies to every single console ever released.
A hacked Vita is basically a Vita and a PSP at the same time while the PSP is only a PSP.
On the Vita you get all the Vita Games, Vita Homebrew/Emulation AND the PSP with its PS1 and PSP Homebrew/Emulation. You do need to find a Vita on 3.60 though as it's the only hackable firmware and there's no way to downgrade
>>383695695
>need to find a Vita on 3.60
well that sounds hard to find, it's not like that's in the product description page
What do developers need to do to make RTS relevant again?
Nothing, RTS are too hard for most players these days.
Why would they play an RTS when they could play FPS/MOBAs with their friends?
>>383694667
A few things
>have a theme and setting that would be interesting for normgroids and pose a nice set of lore for autist to discover, no more IP rehashing or creating storyless or characterless settings like most RTS have been
>expand on the gameplay of the genre in a way that doesn't compromise the genres integrity like dawn of war 3s moba esque gameplay where you spam trash mobs and then use "super units" to carry everything
>have a cheap price, 20 dollars, so it's accessible to people who don't normally like RTS games yet not f2p so you don't need to add cancer
>balance it properly and avoid creating cancerous races/clans, and adopt a balancing model at the very start and stick with it
Is Tooth and Tail still a thing?
Steam summer sale 2017
>4-5 days remaining edition
Ye olde: >>382360150
What's been the best summer sale gimmick?
The monster summer sale sticks in my mind, it was kind of odd but also fun, if only because of the ridiculous methods people set up to get to high levels.
I have purchased Portal 2, All the Bioshock games, (ive never played any of them) Amnesia: Dark Descent,
Oblivion and New Vegas GOTY's, (have only played them lightly on the 360) the entire Mount and Blade series, and Morrowind GOTY. Will this last me until next year's sale?
>>382410985
Depends on how many hours you spend on Mount & Blade but I would say no
Why is emulation so taxing on the CPU?
Because the PC isn't as powerful as the console it's trying to emulate
I don't know the ins and outs but I think emulation can only use a single core.
