I need and Image to write an essay on. The guidelines suggest some kind of advertisement and that would be easiest.
what's the best car ad you have? thinking of doing the takumi 86 ad. any better suggestions?
>>17209593
Nice, your whole class will see just the type of weeb you are
>>17209666
oh right. I have to post a pic by tonight. will they really think I'm a weeb?
Post the last pic you took of your car.
honk
Took it out for a track day.
Good times.
>>17210077
>that '97 lime green accent on the back tho
Obviously I'm not the only one who likes it but everyone who's seen mine says they hate the back, especially the lights. I dislike that facelift though.
>>17209343
Seconded. C30 is sexy af
I like how they look from behind.
I was watching a /o/ thread video and saw the thing about the Copart Bio hazard Section. I found this today
Here is the second pic
>Window looks like halloween decoration/zombie movie fan deco
>Interior suggests legitimacy
I... don't know how to feel without context
>>17209202

Has anyone else identified as female to get cheaper insurance and call the company transphobic when they question it?
wat
>2017
>countries where the insurance is allowed to charge by gender
>>17209025
Women get cheaper insurance than men in several countries, so you just apply for your policy identifying as a woman and get cheaper insurance.
What is this car that overtook me?
Fiero with a body kit
It's a Lamborghini Veyron to me
honda civic with a few cheap mods
Do you hypermile?
never tried but i'm intrested in seeing if i can hit 60 mpg in this 80s 1.6l 4 banger
>>17208298
>hypermiling
I bet you wear gloves and make your boyfriend wear a condom when you jack him off.
This triggers the American
What exactly goes wrong with these fuckers besides the head gasket issue. It seems that was ironed out in 2000. I currently drive a Subaru, head gaskets are not a new problem for me.
I need a car thats easy to drive in highway traffic, good on power and comfy to sit in for 8 hours a day.
>>17208271
Oil leaks from the case-half seals. Coolant leaks from the water pump manifold seals. Bellows between the throttle body and intake manifold splits. Head gaskets leak oil into center valley and ruin starter. That usually looks like a rear main seal leak but is far worse. Threads pull out of block on both head bolt and main cap bolt holes. Auto trans like to wear grooves in the 4th clutch hub which causes an internal pressure leak on the torque converter clutch apply circuit and resulting in TCC slip codes. The ECM then stops trying to apply the TCC which in turn overheats the trans and eventual limp mode. Requires a rebuild with hard parts to fix.
Then there's all the little bs due to time and mileage that any car has.
>>17208565
fucking christ I hate you GM.
I just want a luxobarge with a v8 so I can cruise around the state in comfort. My ankles are getting fucked from clutching in traffic all day and I need something to easily haul 10 cases of beer plus sales bullshit and occasionally clients and other reps.
I love these el dorados but all I hear is bullshit failures like you're telling me. basically I need to suck it up and get a Lexus, right?
>>17208607
That, or a 91-97 "Fat" Town Car.
Why do I need a girlfriend when cute cars exist?
You don't
Because a car can't blow you
>>17208889
Cabin vacuum hoses when?
what is this and why do so many people put it on there car
>>17207872
Chives is a website for turbo normies.
>>17207876
how did they convince so many people to put the stickers on their cars?
>theCHIVE, is a photo-entertainment website independently owned and operated by Resignation, LLC.[2] Images appearing on theCHIVE are selected by staff from searches of both international and domestic websites as well as daily submissions.[2]
theCHIVE gained attention[3] for a series of internet hoaxes[4] that began in 2007 and were reported as true stories by mainstream media outlets.[5]
Use search engines, stupid fag.
So what exactly is it about the V6 Challenger that triggers /o/ so much?
>>17207700
dem dubdubs
But seriously though i like v6's not enough to own one.
and it needs a turbo, a tuner version would be interesting.
>>17207700
It's supposed to be the classic modern muscle car of the 3, so having a v6 in it is worse than a v6 camaro or Mustang.
Also the thing is a fking whale riding a land barge, so a v6 challenger is probably as sporty as an s corolla
>>17207716
muscle cars always had a pov back 6 banger option going back into the 60's with the stang tho so this logic is flawed.
ITT we tell whats wrong with our bike and just get the anger and frustration off our chest.
>on a 1991 GS500 / 49.000 kM
>something with the generator
>I'm too poor to fix it
>I'll have to lend some money just to get it working again and get around
>it hurts to see me to see that there is something wrong that I can't fix
>>17207673
>not calling Bernie Sanders to redistribute you a stator.
Why don't you open it up and see what's actually wrong? A rectifier can be had for 40 bucks and a stator could be had used for about the same.
If you cant afford a part that you can buy with money from working at mcdonalds half a day, maybe you should consider not having bike
That said one of my bikes
>chain/sprokets fucked
>needs valve adjustment
>forks probably can use a refresh, noy leaking or anything just getting mushy
Bought a new bike instead of fixing. Fuck it, whoever buys that one can deal with it or continue ignoring it like I have.

> 2011 Honda CBR125
> Lights don't work
> Except for when they do
> This changes pretty much at random
> Start engine, lights go on
> Twist throttle, lights go out
> Starty bike, lights working
> Ride, lights working
> Lights turn off about 30 miles later
It's not the alternator or charging system, I had that checked.
It's not the battery; I replaced that.
It's not corrosion on the battery leads; I ground that off.
The new battery means it shouldn't just die on me again.
It's time to appreciate that mid 90's BMW aesthetic.
Does anyone here own an old 7 series BMW? I'm looking into getting a 740, because I'm too poor to afford the 750 but the 740 still has a V8
https://www.nettiauto.com/en/bmw/740/8706271
Link related, 3000€ sounds like a good deal to me even tho it has done 300 000km+
I'm also not retarded so if anything breaks I can do work some work on it myself. And yes, I am aware that it drinks gas like hell.
Any thoughts on what to check on it before buying?
(except the obvious cooling system, because BMW)
Is it a good winter car? I live in Finland so it gets quite cold.
check for oil leaks.
check if transmission shifts smoothly etc.
prepare for shit MPGs
>>17207360
Just test drive and listen for funny noises, watch the temp guages and get it PPI'd. Remember too that this is a $100k car and the parts are priced as such. After that enjoy the fuck out of your classy NTY 7 series.
>>17207360
Check if the rear end sags
Check if the car tries to pull forward in R, or stays in place and jerks backwards
Check if the trans fluid has been changed and if it has, with what and by whom.
Listen for the engine, does it rattle or have a dragging sound

Why are American cars mocked for being supposedly unable to turn, yet Euro/Nip cars that are provably as fast or slower get a free pass?
The F-Type is fatter and worse handling than a Camaro, but that's fine because it's British I guess?
Except the F-Type is regularly shat on for being pigfat and being ungainly in the handling dept.
Kill yourself and that persecution complex along with you, faggot.
>>17207311
Because you are a dumbass who easily falls for memes
Case on point:
>Americans can finally do what europe and japan achieved in the 70's, turn
Congrats I guess
>>17207316
>literally Corvette money for a 4 cylinder vacuum cleaner
What were they thinking?
