>Have very rusty E46 328Ci that runs great (the whole right rear quarter is eaten away)
>Friend might trade me his only slightly rusted '86 Civic Si that runs great but needs shocks
>Also the bottom half of a B16A
Should I do it?
I feel like it'd be fun to ebay turbo the EW4 and mess around with it while building up the B16 (NA with hopefully ITB) to swap it in. Also way cheaper to mod than the BMW

pic of Civic
I should mention I have a reliable daily and these are just running projects
if you were in Europe i'd buy that E46 off your hands for 1800 euros (roughly 2k usd)

>how poor people stay poor: the thread
One of my family members custom built 1977 gremlin roadster thing and it is probably the worst thing I've seen, but I don't want to be rude because, you know technically he's my family

I literally like them. Also understand I'm more into sports cars for fun cars/weekend fun. This is about a general commuter I really like the idea of a crossover and see no reason why some shitty sedan would be better. Help change my mind as I'm in the market.
>>17530148
>liking crossovers
Post tits. You're obviously a woman.
>>17530148
Your average hatch has more interior room and better fuel economy along with handling better, having shorter stopping distance and is much less likely to flip. Not to mention those new Mazda 3s are pretty sexy.
>>17530164
To be specific I'm talking about subcompact crossovers. I should have mentioned that.
Hey /o/. I'm trying to decide between a H1 Hummer and a C5 Z06 Corvette. Help me out so I can get a car this weekend.
Hummer pros:
>a literal tank on the road
>can drive over anything anywhere
>causes endless butthurt for Califags
>causes endless butthurt for yuros
Corvette pros:
>goes 200mph
>superior handling and more fun driving on roads
>makes me look like a richfag
>looks good in general
>>17529891
How the HECK do you come up with this comparison OP, you should know which one you want/need
>>17529891
gtr. faster than a corvette
bonus: triggers amerifats

So assblasted his shitty threads got deleted
I'm looking for a daily driver to get to school and work. My budget is around 2k. My dad said to get a civic but I don't want some pussy Asian shitbox lol. Anyways this seems perfect it has a v12 so it will sound like a Ferrari and it has legendary German quality. What do you guys think?

Is this opposite day?
Who's paying for the car and maintenance and gas?
If you, get whatever car you want.
If it's your dad, get the Civic.

>interior of iconic G wagen
2018 G wagen will have S-class interior. High class.
If you want German quality, go Porsche or Audi, Merc and BMW suck. This is a 120k American interior for comparison, definitely not better.
>>17529594
It looks nothing like the S class

I can't believe there will be people in this thread who are going to defend this.

It's an Alfa, it's what it does, dumb burger. You want reliability, get some jap econobox.

>people already defending this that every single Giulia being tested is broken
Why get a Jap econobox when I can get some other RWD 400+ HP sedan, like an M3 or an ATS-V? Maybe not as beautiful to look at or listen too, but at least I won't constantly have to worry about the car shitting itself.
>>17529386
you don't understand, if you don't want to have a car that may shit itself for no reason out of the blue, don't buy alfa. it was always unreliable, it always will be. get anything else.
Now that the dust has settled, manual or auto?

Why isn't it a federal law to allow motorcyclists to lane split through stopped traffic?
feds are cuckcagers
>>17528857
Because appealing to Emotions from Christ tards, soccer moms, and anyone who doesn't understand science and cause and effect. gets votes. They feel that lane splitting is bad becuase they were taught that cutting in line is always bad.
Its sort of the same logic as to why have a Cheeto in the white house right now.
>>17529189
I've seen videos where people get super butthurt and open their car doors into lane-splitting bikers. I don't see how that's not attempted murder. Fucking lunatics.
How easy is it to paint a primed front bumper cover? One on my car has a dent when I hit a frozen snow bank and the paints chipping bad. Was going to buy a new bumper cover primed from eBay in pic related. I have an air compressor, so I guess that'd help to buy like a paint spray attachment and do it that way. But yeah, is it a relatively easy job for a noob? I'm assuming I just need to buy color matching paint, spray on in layers and add a clear coat after? I have a black car and just don't want the bumper to look like a slightly off black color, I want it to match the rest of the car.
>>17528846
Get a professional to paint it. And learn to drive.
>>17528850
Try braking on black ice kiddo.
>>17528846
Get the right materials and train yourself to spray like a robot would.
Not too much to avoid paint runs. At the right angles for even coverage. With backspray to paint the tight spots. Appropriate overlapping for each spray pass. Give each coat appropriate time to dry. Have some appropriate polish to smooth the finish when it's done.
Chances are you'll fugg it up a little bit, but chances are no one else gives a shit.
Why is this car always shit on?
Because it is shit.
