so i dont want to pay say 300 to 400 dollars for a race seat style desk chair. are they worth the money or should i go to my local junkyard and get the seat of a say hyundai veloster any suggestions or better ideas.
Do you have the tools and knowhow to weld a base stand onto a car seat? It's harder than you think.
>>17520487
Ron Arad did it years ago, it's pretty neat. If you can do it, do it.
>>17520508
honestly what my plan is for the moment is take the wheels from my existing desk chair and use wood under the seat to bolt on the wheels.
Wrecking yards are a place where poor people go to be cheap used parts for their poor person cars and the staff are usually white trash.
Do you disagree with my opinion on wrecking yards? They are almost like the thrift stores of car parts.
>go to part store, part you need is $50+, spend $50 like the fucking idiot you are
Or
>go to junkyard, part you need is free because youre not a fucking idiot, put it in your pocket and walk out
Now which is a better option?
>>17520532
>junkyard
>free
What kind of commie shithole do you live in?
>>17520391
>the staff are white trash
lol not in like 30 years, they are completely over-run and dominated by the mexicans now.
Fuck, I never knew that motor ike explode like this on impact
in scared af now. should I avoid motorcyclists when I see them on the roads?
>>17515772
>should I avoid motorcyclists when I see them on the roads?
Nope
You should avoid going to China.
>>17515772
>should I avoid motorcyclists when I see them on the roads?
probably yes, but you should avoid and stay out of China, is a death hole
>driving home from work
>2 lane road
>double yellow lines
>lots of oncoming traffic
>sudden change in pacing of traffic
>inching along at 10mph
>bike fags out en masse being in the way as usual on main roads
>they seem to like this one the most even though it sees a lot of traffic
>at least a dozen of them
>look ahead
>lifted redneck mobile pulls out in front of them
>hear turbo spool up and loud roar of a diesel
>suddenly thick black cloud of smoke
>the bike fags are engulfed in it
>the truck isn't speeding off but maintaining it's distance from the bike fags
>about 2 minutes pass
>start to see several of them moving off to the sidewalk
>drive by them
>some are sitting down coughing up their lungs
>their white athletic shirts stained and dingy from the soot
>feels good
>next day
>bike fags at it again
>same fucking truck pulls out in front of them and does the same thing again
>they move off to the side walk
>can hear a few of them chimping out
>this happens again the next day
>they have the name of an organization on their backs
>search it on facebook
>4th day the bike fags are no where to be found
>facebook group filled with butthurt over environment destroying racist redneck mobile
>last post was of a new route on a map that is out of the way after they figure out after the 3rd time that the truck was intentionally waiting for them
>have a normal commute home for once
What other based drivers has /o/ witnessed while on the road?

No coal rollers here in communist yuroop, so I must stick to my sprinklers when passing those spandex spastics.
truckfags who roll coal are truly the most cancerous faggots
glad the shit is being banned in places
>>17511293
You've changed my opinion on rolling coal. I didn't realize it could be a force for good.

I am looking for opinions on the best year or year group of 'Yota Taco. Discuss pros and cons, creature comforts, on and off road capability, reliability, and ease of repairs.
>>17523036
I'm gay
>>17523036
Creature comforts improve in the later models, but ease of maintenance improves the further you move toward the earlier models.
The gen 3s are using an all new engine and trans, and while problems have been few and far between, only time will tell how reliable they are.
Stock offroad capability has improved a bit in the later models, but the older models have far more aftermarket options available.
So I guess it depends on your intent. If you want an easy to wrench on offroad toy with shit loads of available mods, a gen one or early gen 2 is probly your better bet.
If you want to daily a reliable, more modern light duty truck with above average stock offroad capability, a gen 3 or later gen 2 is probly your best bet.
Gen 3s are expensive though, and youre gonna pay the toyota tax no matter what you get

>>17522106
Only if you can work on cars and have extra money for parts. They're nice but require maintenance. For example many of the cooling system parts fail.
II: World record holders, I'll start with the GTR, fastest volume production car around the ring.
>worst fanbase ever
fixed that for you faggot
>gets btfo'ed by a Huracan

>>17521916
the huracan is not volume production tho, its a different category
does this prove that Ford's f150 bed is objectively inferior to those of its competitors?
>>17521707
What the fuck was he hauling? Holy shit!
The plastic bed liner us practically ice skates for hauling shit so that didn't help, and obviously it wasn't secured and tied down properly but even so. Holy shit.
I sell Chevrolet, so needless to say this screenshot will be printed, framed, and prominently displayed on my desk.
Yes, aluminum trucks are the best thing Ford ever did for the Chevy salesman.

I'd ask them where the d-boy at and flip 'em a fiver.
are first gen Infinity Q45s "good" cars?
I like the styling, but are they actually fast or reliable or fun?
VH45 is gud, but typical Nissan woes
expect to do knock sensors & intake gaskets
power steering system a shit also
Otherwise great cars
2nd gens are better and more comfy
>>17520521
any of that expensive/difficult?
>>17520570
If you do it yourself not very expensive. Difficulty varies. You ever taken out a steerin' rack before? Lol
