Why do people do this? If you debadge your car, smoke your head/tail lights or tint you windows I'm not even going to look into buying your car because I just KNOW you are a complete fucktard.
My friend debadges our cars "for fun".
I almost lost it when we were drinking and he thought it would be cool to remove my Infiniti logo from my G37S.

Is there any benefit for daily driving an AWD car? Or any reason to drive one if you live somewhere that doesn't have extreme weather, such as Southern California or Texas?
>>17618226
No, stability and grip is nice to have. Understeer is something to consider
Its helpful during winter and rain (situational) other then that no, not really.
Pros - muh traction
Cons - muh weight and extra things to break
You can totally want AWD in nice climates if you really need extra traction because of intensive driving. If it's just a daily there's no benefit unless shit winters.

It'll exist, but not as the UK.
>>17617107
This.
>>17616874
btw OP they want to do this in all of Europe. Some major European cities already have an "old car" ban. Aka only cars 2000 and up can go in the city centre etc...
It truly is a cucked, terrible, libtard world we live in. May the tides change soon.

Is parking like this an alpha move or a dick move?
Please respond
it is uniquely homosexual
>>17615558
that's THE CHAD MANEUVER, as opposed to "the virgin park"
Dick move if parked in a busy parking lot, lazy move if parked far away and they gave ample enough parking spots for everyone else who's closer to the store.
Probably a cuck move too since they can't park their truck.

I'm in the market for a used/CPO pony car.
Requirements:
>V8
>Stick Shift
>=< ~$25 K
>Leather Interior
Like to have but not necessarily a key point:
>performance package
>things kept mostly stock (I'm ok with aftermarket exhausts or intakes, assuming it isn't distasteful or low quality)
Dealbreakers:
>over 75K Miles
>any sign of a shitty owner (poorly patched up accidents; anything spray painted or plastidipped - including wheels)
I prefer the looks of the Mustang and interior quality (fit & finish), but the performance & potential of the LS3 in the Camaro.
I'm in a pickle; can I get some feedback from real-time pony car owners?
Any suggestions?
I plan to own for 5 years+; I do not currently track any cars (I haven't researched how to get into track days in HTX.
>>17622966
you amerikikes dont know what id give for a camaro in europe, i guess we do have the mustang
>>17622966
on a related note, both have potential. The mustang even more than the camaro imo. Cant you get like 600+hp with just a turbo and stock internals on a 5.0?
>>17623159
Camaros are easy to get in Central Europe. Maybe don't live in that third world shithole called United Kingdom.
What does/o/ think about the idea of buying a nice Peepee Pornis?
Am 18, i live in an upper-middle class family and of course i never had the chance to even touch an older car because mommy thought it would kill me. (I did drive a Citroen AX 94', loved it and a 97 civic sedan, driving it felt mediocre at best)
I currently drive an F21 BMW 1-series diesel 116d (bought by daddy), and despite being a dream to drive, it doesn't even come close to capturing an amazing driving experience (since it wasn't even really made for that).
Anyways, i want to buy a classic mini as a hobby car, and if something breaks, i'll at least be forced to learn how the car works te hard way.
TL;DR:
Is buying a classic mini a good idea?
What are the dangers of owning it, which model year is best?
Any owners here?
>>17622936
I say buy something similar from the same decade that isn't an overpriced meme. Own it for a few years and figure out if you even want to own a classic car to begin with. If you're only 18 it's probably not like you imagine it is.
Then get the mini in your twenties if you still want it.
>>17622936
Buy a Peugeot 205 gti instead, just as easy to fix as a mini, and you won't look ridiculous in it.
>>17622936
what I can tell you about it
aside from it being slow @ 130kph max and noisy
>rust
all along the roof sills especially the corners
door sills
door skins along the bottom and back of the door
wheel arch inner skin
most of the battery box
where the rear subframe mounts to the body
>mechanical problems
the sump gearbox and all is low to the ground and just the right hight to be cracked by a curb
this can also bend the front sub frame even at low speeds
gearbox has two counter shafts (they flipped the engine around to put the carburettor at the back and thus avoid iceing)
but this puts much of the electrics in front of the engine and more exposed to water
clutch sometimes gets a bit of sump oil on it
older bmc a series only have three main bearings A+ has five
they were made for a long time
but to save money I would say buy the 1980s to 1990s ones
they have the larger 1300 cc engine and many of the older problems are ironed out
and they also have more modern seats and dashboard
the 1960s and 1970s cars can cost allot and may have many odd parts
and they are either pristine restorations or absolute junk
>thought it would kill me
if you survived a Citroen AX your already priddy lucky
here is a mini that met some trouble
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yqnL06_0IU
going around a right hand corner the back stepped out and rotated 180 degrees
then went backwards into a tree stump
ripping the back left swing arm off while flipping the car over backward 180 degrees
it bounced off the front right of the roof
then rolling sideways back onto its wheels
with the engine still running and slowly trying to drive off a cliff
drivers side seat broke and folded flat onto the floor
fuel tank got crushed
had any one been in the front left seat their head would be crushed (video is after some sick mawds including a coke bottle fuel tank to prime the fuel bowl
