So I am about to purchase a new Fiesta ST with the Recaro seats and something that's been on my mind is the bolstering on the Recaros. I'm a about 5'7 150 pounds so i'm not worried at all about myself but my girlfriend is around the same height and about 250. I'm worried she won't be able to fit her fat ass and thighs in between the bolsters. Is anyone familiar enough with these seats that they can tell me if fat girls are a problem?

Why are BMW cars losing their edge and getting fatter? I love the classic e39 and e46 M series and I'm thinking of buying a used M5 F10 next year but the money I would have to spend to make it performance drive worthy is insane. The F10 comes in at 4400 lbs give or take and to drop 300 lbs would easily consume $20,000. The M3 e92 is a great option for a pure sporty coupe but it's fascia is less masculine and overall it doesn't have the same visual gravitas of the M5 F10.

I did mine through triple A, they take your plates and you tape a temporary permit onto your back window.
Mine came in about 6 days, the 8-12 weeks is kind of exaggerated. The legacy plates look a million times better man, especially if the car is black.

So I'm in a non-inspection state, and quite frankly I think the (((dieselgate))) thing is overblown. What's a few hundred thousand otherwise clean (besides the NOx) VWs compared to the US's commercial fleet of trucks and other heavy machines/vehicles?
Anyways, my main question is this.. I've been really interested in Diesel ever since I drove a Passat and an E-class diesel, the low end torque, the rattle, all that good shit makes me crazy. I have a gasser golf now, but should I bother trying to score a diesel? Anyone drive a manual transmission Diesel? The ones I tried were auto.
