What do you guys think? Is it worth 12k? I was thinking of doing a GTR sedan or boosting the balls out of it. Im just on the fence about it.
>>17102728
>12k for sedan gts-t
nah not worth it
People in Japan must be fucking laughing we are buying their scraps for so much. Fucking $25k GTRs and FD RX7s is ridiculous.
>12k for an r32 sedan

What vehicles look good in lime green?

Kawasaki ninja

none

all of them
Okay, rotaries have to be a big convoluted joke. No way could an engine that needs to be rebuilt every 40k miles, burns oil BY DESIGN, has zero torque and such unconventional design with rare parts could be a serious attempt at making a good motor, yet mazda made a ton of money and people want a revival. hold me /o/, I didn't think this many people could possibly be dumb enough to take the bait that is the wankel...
>>17102314
Many engines technically burn oil "by design". The oil near the crankshaft will be routed to the cylinder to be burned off, which is why people have oil catch cans.
>>17102376
What? Fuck no, catch cans are there to catch oil vapor in the escaping crankcase fumes from blowby
>>17102506
Yes but that oil is intentionally routed back into the cylinder to be burnt. The blow by goes to the oil at the crankshaft which creates the vapors you're talking about.
>a cyclist crashes into the side of your car
>you were in the intersection, turning right on a green
>he had previously crossed oncoming traffic and clipped the truck in front of you getting onto the sidewalk
>he gets up and claims that you hit him
>not even a scuff on the car
>he demands $20 to "fix the inner tube" or he's calling the cops
>say no, he takes down your plate number, and walks off into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again
>file a police report just in case
Why do we have to "share the road"? Pic semi-related.
Cyclists aren't people. Should have busted his head in right there.
>internal combustion engines
The best part is when riding on the sidewalk isn't illegal where you live but they insist on pretending to be cars anyway.
I have my doubts about police writing tickets for sidewalk riding where it's illegal anyway unless youre being an asshole.
What's /o/'s opinion on picrelated? I'm considering a luxury car for my next vehicle and have had my eye on a Porsche, but I'm also a moron and don't know if there's something better out there.
>luxury
>porsche
>also a moron
I mean I guess you basically laid it all out there
don't buy a 911 as a "luxury" car. You'll be disappointed.
>>17101907
>don't buy a 911 as a "luxury" car. You'll be disappointed.
Elaborate
Stick to 911 or 718.
The other models in the range are for trophy wives.
What's the longest you can live out of a hatchback/wagon/small crossover without becoming suicidal?
Working 2 part time jobs, although one is only like $30-50 a month because clients keep not calling me back. Anyway, my parents are trying to charge absolutely absurd rent even though I JUST got out of school and have 2 jobs, and I just can't work 20-30 hours a week every week to come out with less than $100 in spending money at the end of the month. That's just not going to work. So I'm thinking about saving the $bullshitamount and living in my car on the streets for a while. I really don't mind the small area, I rarely leave my room at the house anyway, but there are lots of other problems I can think of that come with living out of a car.
Just start out suicidal
>>17101511
>30-50 a month
Drop that shit dude, you can make more on an average workday at minimum wage. Just work full time at a place and stop being a cuck. Go job hunting on Monster.com or LinkedIn.com. Jesus fuck.
>>17101580
I literally work like half an hour to an hour a month. The job would actually pay $120/hr if I had bigger accounts. Even if I had a full time job it would be nothing other than taking a small amount of my time to make significant money per minute.
How do I get this fucking drum off. Already busted it and the brake hardware pin came out broken so the shoes must be holding it in WTF can i do..
>Tfw trying to get to a broken lug nut stud turns into hell

Is the handbrake on?
The brake shoes must be holding it in since the pin busted. grr
>>17101327
Take a blowtorch to it to heat it up and make it expand.
Unless youve tried that already

You know what to do.
Second for 12cc enough cc
Third for best beginner bike.
So im planning on buying a merc 190 and turning it into a project car, slowly turning it into a EVO II
seeing as the actual evo costs around 150k I assumed this would be a better choice. I have the equipment.
Good idea, or am I going down a financial hole that I wont be able to fill up
Do you want it to look like an EVO II or actually be an EVO II?
I'd say make it look vaguely like an EVO II and then just LS swap it. Not even memeing here.
>>17100299
At first I was actually planning on changing the look, but I want the experience with working with engines seeing as it would be helpful with my degree later on
but yes the LS swap does seem like a good idea
>>17100299
I'd agree with this cunt in that:
There's really no point in tuning the original engine (i.e. doing it how they did it).
If you wanted to keep it all merc stuff then get a motor from a newer one, you'll have to get custom engine mounts (probably) but at least you won't be following the footsteps of trained engineers who were trying to wring power out of a fairly small engine
How dark are your window tints?
do you get stopped by cops?
where are you from?
50%

Is 50 dark enough? or is it not worth it at that point
35 is the lowest allowed in my state.
Are there any other 90s looking cars still in production?
>>17099640
That's a damn good looking car. Too bad it isn't LHD.
>>17099640
Oh I didn't know these are still in production. I saw a white one in Kyoto, it had fancy curtains.
Why is nobody buying these? Seriously, I can pick up a used one with 30-40k miles with the Cummins for upper 30s. That's the platinum reserve level trim, too. I'm thinking about trading in my F150 for one.
What does /o/ think of the XD?
>cummins
Oh neat I hope it'll be a smaller straight six or four banger
>veeee ayte
Oh... okay
It doesn't offer the benefits that people who like Cummins engines actually want, or do anything that a larger duramax or power stroke does. Including fuel efficiency.
The largest benefit is that it's a diesel in a half ton application which is cool, but the Ram ecodiesel is just as good, if not better and weighs significantly less. I think that Ford is also developing a diesel F150 for the next refresh and it will probably be a V6 or medium displacement 4 cylinder
go buy a ford 7.3 & enjoy your diesel godmachine for the rest of your life
>>17099492
The 5.0 Cummins isn't really a half ton engine nor is it a 3/4 engine, either. It makes a lot more power than the 3.0 "diesel" in the Ram. That goes for the 3.0 likely to be in the F150, as well. Those diesels aren't really made for max towing, they're made for fuel economy.
