I can't into japanese too much, but the beginning of the gameplay states something about Heisei Riders duking it out, so I guess it's a fair assumption we'll only get Heisei Riders.

Game doesn't really look any good, too, which is a shame. I hate when they make all the different form changes attacks.

A real life mech pretty much has about the same chance of surviving as a tank or helicopter. Which is slim to none. The point is that the mechs in these shows are made of extremely thick armor made out of a special element or some such.

No such thing exists (yet) so I don't understand the point of your question. Obviously a mech made using 21st century technology would not be any better than convential military vehicles in survivng high-yield explosives.

No, because a cruise missile is not a solution to all possible military problems, so things other than cruise missiles must exist for those other problems. It will basically always beat something like a mech, but that doesn't negate their existence. Plenty of other practical considerations do, but being vulnerable to ballistic weapons doesn't, because that's not why military weapons are designed.
