So long story short, my GF lives in apartment about an hour away from me (with no roommates), and lots of crime has happened in the area recently. I actually had my truck stolen 3 weeks ago, but the cops recovered it in decent shape... Anyways, I am looking at the following options. I want to stay under $350, and she is only really comfortable with my .22s so this is the list I am starting with. Any other good low price low recoil(ish) options?

Do you think glock will ever drastically change their design to stay relevant?
I personally never had a problem with the ergos or anything but I can definitely see how theyre resting on their laurels.
I was on a Forum the other day checking out out the new CZ p10c and the reviewer said when he held it that he couldn't help but feel like this is what a modern glock should be which made me wonder if they'll eventually start making drastic changes because theyre being outclassed left and right in every department save for aftermarket and track record.

Hell no. As someone who's parents were both street officers, then detectives, and dad being on SWAT it's one of the worst jobs imaginable. Rampant alcoholism, long nights, and now a constant fear of being sued or shot. That last part is recent and my parents didn't have to worry about that as much, they cracked jaws and broke bones left and right and it was normal policy if you're a fuckwad. Most officers die within 10 years of retiring due to stress, or lack of. Also divorce is fucking rampant for then and cheating with each other is common.

I'm really sold on a FN Hi Power and i would seriously fucking murder for an FN-made one, the kind they imported to the United States back in 2003-2006.
Anybody know where to get one like that, or at least a near-new FN Hi Power in general besides lurking Gunbroker forever?
They've got exactly that there, but in fucking 40 S&W which really hurts.

Beretta 92F
Luger p08
FN Hi-Power
CZ 75B
S&W Shield 9mm (not steel, I know)
Some shiity Glock I don't even remember the model my buddy owned.
Of all those, the Hi-Power had the worst accuracy and the fixed sights were waaaay off. Glock had the worst trigger and accuracy was nearly as shit.
CZ has a lousy trigger but feels nice and has O.K accuracy. Beretta is average all-around
Shield is impressive for a compact.
Luger (1939 Mauser) is a tack-driver and a joy to shoot, though it tends to jam with underpowered loads.
