TO start off this is about the 1957 COLT 357, NOT python, NOT trooper, COLT 357, which was made only form 1953 to 1969, only 15k produced since anyone who wanted a nice revolver got a python which was made the same time, and everyone who wanted a python but couldn't afford it got the trooper, which was half the price of the colt 357, and a quarter the price of a python.
The guy who traded me for it was really weird about the finish and gave me a whole story about how it probably isnt worth anything because of it before we met, and during the trade he told me it was from some cop carried it around all day with his hand on it, it wore off from his hand, so everything above the holster line is raw, while all the nickle under the holster is still intact almost 100% This seems to line up, but what im thinking is it worth it to get this thing refinished professionally so it looks like it came form the factory, cause that would just be bitching, or would it just kill any value since isnt ACTUALLY from factory? Also how much is this thing worth? I have no idea.

Never. Call signs are usually inside jokes. In the Navy they're given at the Fleet Replacemenf Squadron (where you learn to fly your assigned plane after graduating flight school) and are usually a reference to some fuck up or social faux pas you made during your training.

here is why:
gun was mount rather high and to the front
it was a powerful gun = lots of recoil compared to the vehicleweight
it had a 10x optic
it had great suspension
now fire it without muzzle break
>recoil goes back to the vehicle
>gun mount creates leverage which goes on the suspension
>vehicle jerks forth and back
>you lose visual contact in your 10x optic
jagdtiger was a fat (70t), that thing just cant get puched around by the recoil
jagdpanzer4 was flat, closer to the ground, a weaker gun, a lot less leverage
