Very awesome!
Good job, Poland.

Thanks Jan for saving Western Civilization.

How did haplogroup E enter Europe? If it's connected to agriculture as many seem to believe, why isn't it found at the G-dominant Neolithic sites? Why does it peak in Kosovo rather than Greece or Albania? Why is the only prehistoric E sample from Spain, and that E-V13 (Balkan) rather than the North African E-M81?
>>3053098
Europeans are the true chosen people of God. The Children of Israel.
>>3053098
Kosovo being especially rich in yDNA haplogroup E could just be a founder effect from the particular Albanian population cohort that settled the region under the Ottomans.
>>3053153
>settled the region under the Ottomans
Plz stop.
Stop being Sikh.
>>3051970
I'm Sikh and tired of your bullshit.
>>3051970
Nader Shah was fucking GOAT.
>Once, when Nadir was told that there was no war in paradise, he was reported to have asked: "How can there be any delights there?"
t. an actual Persian. If only he didn't go crazy in the end and get himself killed due to his paranoia.
>>3052082
Nice pun sir xD
How is it so many cultures independently came up with the concept of a dragon?
>>3044421
Nope. The "Chinese dragon" is actually nothing more than a conflation of an oriental mythological scaly creature with the European concept of a dragon - the concepts, or rather the connotations behind the concepts are entirely different. The "Chinese dragon" has positive connotations whereas the European dragon has negative ones - Europeans merely conflated them.
If the "concept of a dragon" you're referring to is "scaly flying lizard thingy", then I don't have a clear reason why that concept emerged independently. Maybe it's just cool.
But if we're talking about the "concept of a dragon" referring to Europeans' understanding of a malevolent beast with an impossibly large penis to rape maidens with - to be overcome by a legendary hero, then no, it is merely that Europeans felt an urge to conflate other scaly mythological creatures with their own once they learnt about them.
>>3044421
because apparently a lizard with wings the size of an elephant is the same thing as a 200 foot long snake with antlers and rat whiskers
>>3044421
They didn't. They independently came up with a variety of different mythological creatures, which some anthropologist way later slapped a "dragon" label on them and said they were similar, despite enormous differences between them.
When people speak of the west, what exactly comes to your mind? First-world countries in Europe and America or countries that have been heavily influenced by american culture and christianism? Picture unrelated
>>3056799
Christian world
roughly the roman empire and new world colonies
>>3056799
Westerners and their manners and mentality, representing the polar opposite of Asia; Europeans, Americans, Australians, etc
Well, Why?
>>3056429
>>3056431
>ancient statues were painted and actually kinda gaudy and weren't trying to make statements about minimalism or authoritarianism
Makes you think.
i don't believe it
>>3056177
wait you mean ancient Romans and Greeks also had arms and torsos?
>>3056177
Some were painted some were not, it's like a 40's film using black and white for a 30's scene
Also where is Augustus' gay angel
Is the claim to the dynasty of David made by the Ethiopian kings legitimate?
I'm curious why you would even ask this question. You'll only get people on the extreme side of "no, niggers are always wuzzin amirite XD", or the extreme side of "Yes, according to this one Christian archeologist who has no peer-reviewed evidence and is clearly an Ethiopia fanboy".
Believe me, I wish this board could be cool and have actually intelligent, fun, light-hearted discussion- but it's not and I myself might quit today.
it' about as legitimate as the kings of England declaring wōden ancestry
>>3056074
About as legit as the house of Saud claiming to be Muhammads descendants
Why is United States slavery taught to USA students as the bad slavery?
Did South America kill most of their slaves?
>>3055997
>Did South America kill most of their slaves?
No. Have you ever seen Brazil? 90% of their country is a various shade of nigger.
>>3055997
>Did South America kill most of their slaves
No. America actually got a very small amount of slaves in comparison to countries like Brazil and places in the Caribbean. Unlike the United States, black slaves were prevalent enough that the Europeans there couldn't contain them, even if they wanted to, and eventually miscegenation happened on a wide scale. Also South American countries have been weak or unimportant throughout most of their history since their independence so there's been less of a need by European liberals to preach to them about social injustices or shit like that like how they always do to America because of how insecure it makes them feel.
>>3055997
Let's name those big slave countries in South America.
For 1212 how historically accurate is this map? (Countries within the thick black borders represent vassals)
No map at such scale can represent the complexity of feudal links
>>3055800
Its badly represented and CA should had released map mod tools.
>Most of Arabia should be wasteland.
>west Africa is missing(CA fault for not releasing mod map tools)
>most of Scandinavia and Russia is missing
>no India
>>3055800
Where is this from? Did CA announced something new or is it a fake?
Can somebody give me a quick rundown of the history of the Gulf Arab states and explain to me the tribal differences between the Saudis, Kuwaitis, Qataris, Bahrainis, and Emiratis?
>>3055581
>quick rundown
Somehow even more cancerous than >repill me on x
Maybe next time just ask:
What are the tribal differences between the Saudis, Kuwaitis, Qataris, Bahrainis, and Emiratis?
>>3055581
Qataris are the good guys, Kuwait and Oman are okay guys, Saudis and UAE are the bad guys.
What's /his/'s view on Vichy France?
Nation of cucks
>>3055179
I don't really blame them. If I was in a similar position where I was up against a person who's just beaten me in fight and is in control, I would probably compromise as well.
>>3055179
Whether you agree or not with Pétain's policies, he did everything he could to preserve France as much as possible... It all was ruined by the Anglos, Americans and Free French. By the way, Laval did a lot of fucked shit and the blame was put on Pétain afterwards.
What's the deal with Sami peoples?
Last hunter gatherers in Europe
>>3055136
>hunter gatherers
>live in cities/towns, run companies that make profit and then shop in grocery stores
?
>>3055381
Still they were the last hunter gatherers some centuries ago
Why did Russia fall so far into irrelevance?
I mean, they are not the only european power that lost most of its empire. But UK, France, Germany, etc. are all still kind of relevant. Russia though is not even Top 10 in the biggest economies and are not putting out anything of value.
Or in other words, what did the West do better than Russia, that losing their empires didn't make them fall into complete irrelevance, like Russia is falling?
>>3055114
We try to be relevant via military presence
The brain drain I think explains most of it, both as a cause of some of the economic decline and an effect of competition from Europe, the Anglosphere and Asian tigers as a location for lucrative services and high tech industries.
It is one of the goals of the state to prevent this but it conflicts with now deeply embedded corruption and inefficiency as well as a broken pessimistic alcoholic population.
>>3055114
GDP is not the only thing that matters, according to this list the Netherlands are more "relevant" than Iran or Pakistan.
Does anybody know some stories of interesting exploits of conquistadors and explorers in the new world?
>>3055018
Pretty much everything Cortes did in his expedition. Think about it - a few hundred men toppled a massive empire. The same goes for Pizarro. I really can't think of any other times in history when a similar thing happened.
>>3056327
