But seriously, what race were the Egyptians?
>>2558529
Its heavily disputed.
It is most certain that there where European settlers in Ancient Egypt, mostly because of Egyptians trading with the Mediterranean's.
Kangs
Really though some bastard mix of mesopotamian and north african, with bits of Nubian and Hyksos and whoever the fuck else conquered Egypt.
>>2558529
The same race they are today.
Well fuck, /his/. You have time-warped to 1944 Peleliu Island right during a fucking Banzai Charge, using your historical knowledge, how do you get away?
>get away

Were Battlecruisers a doctrinal mistake?
It seems like they become obsolete the moment an opponent also has battlecruisers, since BC's aren't protected against their own guns. And they are too expensive to build and operate have enough for cruiser things, which relegates them into the very narrow role of fleet scout.
Maybe there's something I'm missing for the High Seas Fleet and Royal Navy were so enamored with the concept
The same can be said for carriers today.
An entire fleet is to be made to protect a single carrier yet a single fucking missile is all it takes for you to sink it.

>An entire fleet is to be made to protect a single carrier yet a single fucking missile is all it takes for you to sink it.
That is a gross oversimplification, you nitwit.

Is private property a negative or positive right?
Hippity hoppity get off my property!
>>2555345
>rights to private property
There are no "rights" to property, only those who possess areas and those who don't.
And if all hell breaks loose, there won't be police protecting you, so it pretty much makes this situation as real as possible.
>>2555360
Do you understand the difference between private and negative rights, do you?

China often boasts of being a 5000 year old civilization, but what good has that ever done them? All their history is just them screwing around within their own borders, autistically trying to keep things the same and having education for the sole purpose of perpetuating a bureaucracy whose only function was to keep itself in existence.
>>2551044
they have too many people anon
if china was broken up more they might have some different styles of government
>>2551044
>but what good has that ever done them?
You know how the country has this strong urge to unite no matter how divided they can get.
2000 years of Empire does that to ya.
>>2551044
and yet it will soon buy out the world anyway
Western power didn't even dominate until the 18th century and won't even last to the end of the 21st
that tells you something

What are your favorite dramatic quotes from the middle ages?
I'm thinking along the lines of 'Kill them all, God will know his own.' and of course 'Deus Vult'.
The one where the Pope was all like "nah bros, killing heretics is immoral and anti-christian", but on the DL he was all like "It's totally ok if you secular rulers actually do it, I just need to keep my hands clean on this"
DEUS VULT
