Gym nearby is going out of business and is selling a video wall.
40" 1080p monitors for $1k.
Should I buy them? I can fit 6 in my apartment and I'll probably sell the rest to my friends. It brings the cost down to only $70 per monitor.
Also, I have a gtx 1070 with 5 video outputs. How can I run this behemoth of a display? Can I get another shit card and just use that for one of the displays?

They finally reached a big enough userbase so it was time for phase 2: botnet
Are there any current production laptops that place the AC, and Ethernet port in the back where they belong, and not off to the side where they look ugly, in the way of everything else?
Everyfucking model right now has the AC port sticking like 2 inches out of the side, and an Ethernet port on the opposite side making a desktop bound laptop a complete fucking mess. I miss the god old days when "permanent" I/Os where all in the back, and out of the fucking way.
Except USB ports. Always on the side.

What if AMD brings Jim Keller back for another 3 years after Zen+?
Does Intel have enough money to donate to Feminist Frequency to survive?
Will their new marketing campaign that declares AMD buyers sexist actually work?

They will realize that Making faster single cores is getting harder and harder.
AMD seems to have made a 40% jump in IPC, but their CPUs were garbage teir to begin with.
With 10nm and 7nm being put on hold, dont expect much.

>10nm and 7nm being put on hold
they were never realistically viable.

Post your component list, rate other anons', ask questions in general.
Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA.
If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price, or improve specs or build quality.

Is there any meaning to those numbers are are they simply copying Intel core i3/i5/i7?

What's sad is that some people prefer KDE over xfce. They could install xfce and Compton and it looks better out of the box. (And Compton is not bloat for those who think it is)
