Is there a reason for flash memory to have pins this exposed?
Would it speed up read times?
>>59028250
The more contact area you have, the less likely your end users experience failure after inserting and removing memory cards thousands of times.
We eventually found spinnan disks and hard drives to be superior.
not sure if youre retarded or what, its a way to make something baby safe and still have 16 points of contcact in a small, easily loseable size
>>59028261
Of course since this belongs to the Switch, the likely answer is because it's unreasonable to have spinnan disks in your console, even though people still want removable media.

Recently brought a Samsung 960 Evo M.2, my gigabyte z170x-gaming 3 has trouble actually detecting the drive, it works 50% of the time, when it isn't detected I have to switch it to another slot until eventually it fails again. Any ideas?

144mb is pretty good desu. I'm at around 250 because of compton; definitely shouldn't use it on my craptop, but it really brings the WM together. 'Ps -aux | less' and see what else you can gut.
It's 9:30 and my internet slows to a dead crawl. My ISP won't fix the problem and have no desire to, and they blame me. What can I do to fix it on my end. No other computers are running nor tablets and phones.

Completely reasonable and well educated questions thread
Rather than shitting up the board with minor questions, post them here.
-provide extra relevant information, e.g. if you wifi is not working, state the wifi card model, OS etc.
-take at least 10 seconds googling your problem
-don't bump the thread, you are not entitled to an answer and lot of people look for posts without replies
-stop asking for best this and that
-check the catalog for general threads for questions regarding programming, web dev, gnu/linux, graphic cards etc. you might have better luck there

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or Mac.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.
