How do Intelfags deal with constant stutter?
Jokes on you. I spent $800 for a Gsync monitor. Stutter free.

Firefox and all of its flavors: turn off safe browsing and configure about:config to look something like this: https://github.com/pyllyukko/user.j, or just use IceCat.
Other suggested add-ons: HTTPSEverywhere, Ublock, Umatrix, libreJS, Privacy Badger, HTTP by default, No Resource URI Leak, HTML5 everywhere, Canvas Blocker, Decentraleyes, Certificate Patrol
or use Iridium or ungoogled-chromium if you like Chrome more than Firefox, suggested plugins: Ublock origin, HTTPSEverywhere, Disable Java By Default

Startpage, ixquick, or searx
>What should I use instead of Google Drive/OneDrive/Dropbox?
Owncloud, Nextcloud, Syncthing, Rsync of SFTP, depending on if you want to sync files across devices or have them hosted on a “cloud”

Bit the bullet in 2014 and bought a Macbook Pro because I needed access to OS X and I'm stuck with it. It comes with a pre-installed 128GB SSD which is good for fuck shit and buying a replacement SSD is expensive as fuck.
I want to have both Windows and Mac on it and use Windows for lightweight/low-spec game and the only solution I can think is an external hard drive.
Should I buy a usb 3.0 external?
Or buy an internal with sata and sata to usb 3.0 converter?
Would something cheap like this take an hour to load games?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-USB3-0-1TB-Stable-External-Hard-Drives-Portable-Laptop-Mobile-Hard-Disk-/262855250643?hash=item3d3364d2d3:g:07cAAOSw~AVYpSRO
Thanks
I just fresh installed windows on my new rig which I bought from my friend.
My question is about whether or not i'd need Geforce Experience. I want to do two things.
1. Install the right drivers for games performance, and keep them up to date.
2. Stream my games to my Shield Tablet.
Is Geforce Experience what I need to do the above? If so how do I download the right drivers from within it?
I got gifted this laptop that came up with Windows 8 installed, videos on YouTube using Firefox could run no problem in 720p 60fps/1080p 60 fps. Installed Windows 7 and the videos on YouTube flatout freeze when using high resolution, but you can still hear the video. What gives?

After waiting almost a year after the release of the Spectre 13, it finally got to a price point where I felt comfortable buying it. What can I expect with this thing? Anyone here have one?
If you're wondering why I would buy it, the design initially got me. This thing looks like an art piece. It's also got an i7-7500U in it, and 8gb RAM in a laptop that's literally thinner than a Pilot G2 pen. I know this thing is Apple-tier to you guys, but I think HP's got something nice here.
>What can I expect with this thing?
regular windows experience or linux if you install that

That flicker indicates "action". It's so the mongoloids using Windows can be sure they're task was completed. It's subtle, I know, but it prevents keybashing retards from screwing things up.

Guys, anywhere besides fucking america, amd is just as expensive as intel, please stop bragging about them great prices without looking at non burger cunts.
Ryzen is a fucking disappointement.
Price in New Zealand:
1800x $799
6900K $1600
1700 $499
7700K $540

>Public knowledge by now but AMD has a new HEDT platform coming out in a couple of months. You’ll see more of it at Computex I believe. It’s a 16 core /32 Thread, quad channel behemoth. And it is insanely quick in the tests that Ryzen is already excelling at. So Cinebench, and all other related productivity programs. The gaming issues that were causing the Ryzen AM4 CPUs to behave erratically to say the least have been ironed out. It’s akin to a newer revision on a newer platform. This should be competing with the Xeon and of course 6950X Intel offers for $1700~$1800USD, but at about $1,000 USD if not less for some Skews. Coming soon.
CPSs are pretty big physically, about twice the size of surrent 6950X CPUs and a bit more perhaps. And if you were hoping for pins, nope it’s strictly LGA! It’s NOT 8 channel, but Quad.
>Will be a splendid competition between X299 and this AMD platform. Skylake-X is pretty good, not revolutionary but a meaningful step up in IPC and the clocks are pretty high as well. If Intel will have a 32 core part to compete on X299 remains to be seen, but the HEDT platform is going to change quite a bit in the next 4 to 6 months.?
