Hi and good luck,

wall mounting small speakers is okay in your situation, looks like a loft space you got there.

Ideally you want an equilateral triangle, two speakers and your head, that would put the speakers at 35 degrees towards you (along the triangle lines), and equal distance between the three (line length), typically 1.5m for a 5", 2m for a 6.5", 2.5m @8" etc.

Your main problem in a loft space is all those corners to avoid putting speakers in.
1 surface = +3dB bass
2 surface = +6dB
3 surface (a room corner) you get the picture.

buy nice small speakers, for 200 dollars in that room, you should go for some 5" second hand.

Dynaudio is good bang for buck.

but to be honest, If you want nice sound you need to be looking at absorbing bass from the many, many corners of your room.
Put foam, old duvets or anything big and soft in the corners, makes more difference than good speakers.

Consider that what makes your setup to look good its the wooden (or wooden looklike) wall. Some natural textures really help as contrast with minimalistic tech things. Get a desktop made of wood when you move out. Some plants will also help. "Gamming chairs" look silly for adults. If I were you, I will find some buiseness looking ones or something with brown thick leather, maybe something kinda vintage. This, again, help as constrast to your nice setup, and go along with the wood colours.
