Do you have a book you want to read?
Any book, relating to technology, and I will try to find it for you and upload it to you.
Why?
Basically I'm trying to build a ration on myanonamouse. Ironically, the best way to do that is to download books.
Being someone who doesn't feel like just downloading random shit, I will download what you request, and if it's on there, I will upload it on a google drive or whatever you want so you can download it.

Lets try this again. Last thread got deleted for some reason.
I am considering selling my Battlestation, Thinkpad, and Nexus 6p and replacing it with the new MacBook Pro, an ultrawide display, a amgic keyboard and magic trackpad, and an iPhone 7 Plus.
>pic related is pretty much what I'm aiming for
I feel like I'm wasting my life by being so obsessed with tech and wonder if I get rid of all the windows and android gaymer and 4chan bullshit and become an apple normie then I could possibly become normal again.
I'm tired of all the gayming pcmasterrace bullshit and notice that all the normal well adjusted non NEET basement dweller normies use apple hardware and actually have a life and friends and relationships etc.
I think switching to apple hardware will allow me to not take tech shit so seriously and make me have a social life and workout and be normal like everyone else
Am I fucking crazy?
Does anyone else feel like this?
Opinions please

It's a common misconception that objects make the man, you'll still be the same person no matter the hardware.
Just like the saying goes, the man makes the clothes the clothes do not make the man.

Nice .gif but I need and actual breakdown of what the fuck is going on it my head bro
I literally feel like I'm going insane because i'm putting so much emphasis on the tech people use also I'm on new meds so maybe that's it?
What the fuck
Do you get viruses from pirating games even if the distributor is "trusted"?
How big is the risk?
Do any of you do it anyway?
What if they don't get detected by malwarebytes and avast? What do you do then?
>>59486865
>Do you get viruses from pirating games even if the distributor is "trusted"?
Yes, because that "trust" ain't worth shit
>How big is the risk?
Zero if you don't take it
>Do any of you do it anyway?
I don't
>What if they don't get detected by malwarebytes and avast? What do you do then?
They don't run on TempleOS, so it's a null question for me
https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.en.html#PiracyPiracy”
Publishers often refer to copying they don't approve of as “piracy.” In this way, they imply that it is ethically equivalent to attacking ships on the high seas, kidnapping and murdering the people on them. Based on such propaganda, they have procured laws in most of the world to forbid copying in most (or sometimes all) circumstances. (They are still pressuring to make these prohibitions more complete.)
If you don't believe that copying not approved by the publisher is just like kidnapping and murder, you might prefer not to use the word “piracy” to describe it. Neutral terms such as “unauthorized copying” (or “prohibited copying” for the situation where it is illegal) are available for use instead. Some of us might even prefer to use a positive term such as “sharing information with your neighbor.”
A US judge, presiding over a trial for copyright infringement, recognized that “piracy” and “theft” are smear words.
there is no such thing as a trusted distributor of pirated material
you can never 100% be sure if the software you've downloaded has a virus in it, until its too late that is
viruses in pirated software is a much bigger issue than it used to be, now that bitcoin miners are a thing
What if we have a good clipper general?
Pic related is my current stuff.
- A Braun Cruzer 6 Face for the beard.
- A BaByliss also for the beard because the trimmer blade of the Braun doesn't cut very well after years of use. I use it to outline or trim longer hair of the beard.
- And for the head a cheap Severin with four combs (3,6,9, and 12mm). It also has a lever to add between 0.3 and 3mm of length.
Currently I'm looking for a new clipper. I've seen this multipack from Braun that can be use for the head, beard and body: http://us.braun.com/en-us/products/male-grooming/stylers-trimmers/multi-grooming-kit-mgk3080 The only thing I miss in that kit is a comb with more lenght than 21mm for the head. There are trimmers specifically for the head that have combs of 35mm like this http://es.braun.com/es-es/products/male-grooming/stylers-trimmers/hair-clipper-hc5050
What is better for you? Buying a specific trimmer for the head and another for the beard or someone like the one from the multipack I linked above.
Another question I have after watching some models from different brands is what material is better for the shave, titanium or stainless steel. I have read that stainless steel is stronger though. What do you know about it?
Some brands I already know: Braun, Wahl, Remington, BaBlyss and Severin.
What other brands do you know?
Thanks.

Rust vs C++
Which language to learn?

yes
C++ if you want a job now, Rust if you want to have a job in the future.

Pretty much
Rust looks better than C++
In light of what a disaster winshit has become, aside from using winxp/7/8, are hackintoshes a viable option. I hate glossy screens, so macbooks are out, but what about a hackintosh thinkpad?
is macos less of a botnet than winblows?
to clarify, yes if i could only use linux that would be great, but some things don't run on it, not my fault ...
>>59486737
use linux for everything ...
Hackintoshes are better these days than they used to be, but in general you're better off just using Linux.
macOS is almost as much a botnet, but most of the users aren't aware or care about it.
What is the benefit of this over the godly F-91w?

I mean where would you get the hinges that compact and durable? How long till the screen gets bends and discoloration due to being folded like that this just can't work that and unless we have a major break through in battery tech this just can't work with any kind of decent battery life

Why no chair general?
I'm looking for a reclining office chair with a footrest. I've heard those cringe gaymen chairs are actually really comfy, but I don't want to spend $350+
>Budget
$100-200 (might be persuaded to $250)
I really rather not go out in person. There's not many places to check because rural, less options, and more expensive.
>>59486549
Said this in a thread few days ago.
If you want to pay economically for a real proper officer chair, check out the local auction brokers when they are selling off stuff from some bankrupted company.
Bumping for interest. I could use a good new chair.
Gaymen chairs are no mere meme.
why hasnt this been fixed yet?
this bug is older than time itself
>>59486532
I haven't yet seen it on my r9 390, but I used to get it all the time on my older AMD cards.

I guess we know what they say about AMD.
