I have a C programming project about finding the shortest distance using dijkstra's algorithm. any prog fags wanna help out?
38 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
Project description:

ABC company is a big courier company that transports packages from one town to another. The management recently decided to cut down its transportation expenses by asking drivers to travel through the shortest path from one town to another town. So you are hired to develop a program that finds the shortest path between two towns.
You will be given the number of towns (n) and a 2-dimensional n x n distnace matrix that denotes the distance of the roads between towns. Following is an example of a 5 x 5 matrix.
0 inf inf 10 3 inf 0 9 7 5 inf 9 0 inf inf 10 7 inf 0 1 3 5 inf 1 0
if the matrix[r , c] is not inf then there is a road between rth town and cth town. As an example in the above matrix there are roads between 0th town and 3rd town, 0th town and 4th town, 1st town and 2nd town etc. assuming the number of the first town is 0 and so on. Diagonal of the matrix is always 0 as it represents the same town. As you notice the matrix is symmetric (mirror reflection around diagonal axis) because if there is a road between a and b that means there is a road between b and a for the same cost as well.
Your task is to find the shortest path between two towns. Bonus Part. Print the list of towns in the shortest path from starting town to the destination town.
Note: Instead of inf you can use 2147483647 ( which is the maximum number in int category) and you can assume that cost of any actual path ( or set of paths) is less than 2147483647.
>>
I did a similar project, but using the distance vector algorithm
>>
Do you still have the source code? I pretty much have everything written except I cant think of how to scan through the distance matrices to find paths and figure out which one is the shortest. I'm thinking about creating a boolean array with all false values then scan through the matrix and store all non false values in a matrix then add up all those distances and find the lowest values based on all the paths it could find. Easier said than done though.

Fucking X370 motherboards.
Does anyone know whether the powerphases of the gigabyte gaming 5 hold up to overclocking an r7 1700 to ~3.9ghz?

6+4 power phases with heatsink, i think that will sure do what you ask.
>>
>>59497196

Yes. It's the same powerphase set up as the ASUS Crosshair 6.

Games are rarely written by hand anymore
Existing Engines are deployed with custom graphic textures and levels
with the exception of high profile (Overwatch, Halo, etc)
This is essence of modern game development

This concept emerged in 1990s
Consoles became RISC-based, finally capable of supporting
reusable, high level languages. No more specific assembly projects. (IDtech, Crash Bandicoot's GOOL).

>>
I think you lost your way to /v/
>>
OP here. So is there a deeper origin of this concept? Can you think of a more accurate description of modern development?
>>
Since this thread sucks, does anyone know a place where people would find this interesting? I know it's not /v/

I've been a bit curious lately about how much other other people actually utilize the expandability of their computers, given the increasing popularity of ITX motherboards and small form factor builds, how more functionality keeps getting integrated, and pictures I've seen of older 486 machines that seem to normally utilize a lot more expandability than I see utilized now days (pic related as an example). If anyone wouldn't mind answering the following:
>how many expansion cards do you have in your desktop?
>how many hard drives do you have?
>how many external 3 1/2" or 5 1/4" bays do you use?
>do you use more RAM than you could fit into 2 DIMM slots?
>have you ever found yourself wanting more expandability than you can have with your current machine?

I'll contribute for others who are also interested.
>how many expansion cards do you have in your desktop?
2, for a GPU and an older sound card that I keep around for the game port.

>how many hard drives do you have?
2, a 320 GB HDD and a 480 GB SSD.

>how many external 3 1/2" or 5 1/4" bays do you use?
I have a DVD burner, a zip drive, and a 3 1/2" floppy drive.

>do you use more RAM than you could fit into 2 slots?
Yes, but I'm using a motherboard that only supports DDR2. I have 8GB of RAM

>have you ever found yourself wanting more expandability than you can have with your current machine?
No.
>>
Anyone?
>>
>>59496436
no expansion cards
only 1 ssd since i moved all my hard drives to the server
no bays
2 ram slots, don't need more
i don't want more expandability
