Windows Defender is not enterprise grade.

Why haven't we seen new technology arise from the IBM Truenorth?
Such performance at such low power consumption should make it ideal for portable computing like smartphones and laptops.
What's stopping this from happening? Is it cost? Size? Is it because it's just easier to stick to x86/ARM?
IBM had to create an entirely new programming language for this, I have no doubt that's a large part of the issues with getting this out to the larger market, but would it be able to emulate ARM applications?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrueNorth
Enlighten me /g/.
I find it amazing that it's only 70mW power consumption, but how would it compare to an ARM mobile CPU like the Snapdragon 820?
Is there actually any legitimate method to compare performancen
>>59582714
>Is there actually any legitimate method to compare performancen
No, there isn't. They work completely differently. Did you read the Wikipedia article you posted? It should be pretty bloody obvious if you even skim it.
>>59582698
>would it be able to emulate ARM applications?
No. Even if it could, emulation is horrifically inefficient.
Seriously, this is a beautiful chip well worth discussion, why do you want to drag it down to the level of a phone OP?

Do any of you guys have experience doing this? I'm following the procedure given, but I can't figure out how to efficiently find the two colliding RSA moduli (step 4).
> generate random primes p1 and p2 of approximately 512 bits, such that e is coprime to p1 − 1 and p2 − 1;
> compute b0 between 0 and p1p2 such that p1|b12 1024 + b0 and p2|b22 1024 + b0 (by the Chinese Remainder Theorem);
> let k run through 0, 1, 2, . . ., and for each k compute b = b0 + kp1p2; check whether both q1 = (b1 * 2^1024 + b)/p1 and q2 = (b2 * 2^1024 + b)/p2 are primes, and whether e is coprime to both q1 − 1 and q2 − 1;
> when k has become so large that b ≥ 2 1024, restart with new random primes p1, p2;
> when primes q1 and q2 have been found, stop, and output n1 = b1 * 2^1024 + b and n2 = b2 * 2^1024 + b (as well as p1, p2, q1, q2).

Yes
I'm getting Net+ and Sec+ certified next
>>59582247
taking CCNP R/S soon, then probably taking CSA+ since my sec+ is about a year from expiring.
honestly though compTIA are dirty jews and their certs cost more to maintain than they're worth, if they weren't so easy by comparison i would pick up a real vendor cert for DoD compliance.
cert haters are just jelly that they dumped 30 grand into a bachelors in some information systems bullshit and can't get out of helpdesk hell while lazy fucks that spent 300 bucks on a CCNA straight out of highschool are making twice as much.
mine is mostly game shit but I have some other stuff lying around
Feels good knowing that pretty much every single one of those gaming platforms there has a PC emulator.

You either need to kill it before it kills you, or find away to make a profit.
Why doesn't your language have an ebin folder /g/?
You don't really need to compile scripting languages.

Listen here you stupid asses.
Thinkpads are not for gaymen, you shouldn't be using windows as your operating system (Use only Linux), you shouldn't be buying any thinkpad without the IBM logo on it, and your thinkpad should work with libreboot. Also use mostly free open source non-proprietary software/hardware for your thinkpad.
I'll accept windows maybe if you're using windows 98 and you're only using it for playing games exclusively for windows 98 because I'm a nice guy.
You idiots are doing everything wrong. Go buy some 1500 dollar laptop or something. If you can't afford it, get a job and live a more frugal lifestyle.

DUCKS :dddDDD
Are there any Free Open Source Non-Proprietary headphones?
What are some headphones of a similar quality and in a similar price bracket, maybe a bit cheaper than the 598s that do not have a plasticky design? Maybe I have a massive head or something but EVERY pair of sennheisers I've owned have cracked along the plasticky headband at the side. I'm currently using some Fidelio x1s which I love the design of but they're getting a bit old and the non-replaceable earpads are getting gross.
I have a theory that I can use a virtual machine with GPU passthrough to stream windows games to the Linux host computer.
Before I go out of my way to compile a kernel, buy a new case, motherboard, CPU, and RAM, can anyone tell me if I'm an idiot?
