I had 16.04 on my laptop. Did a fresh install of 17.04, it just kept getting stuck on the splash screen. Went back to Win10.
I've been struggling to come up with an idea for a web app side project. What are some cool ideas that you have?

So what speeds can you get from steam /g/?
on a 1gbps connection I usually get steady 700-850mbps. Sometimes as high as 900mbps.
>>60792092
I have 100/100 so I get 11-12MB/s
Try Sony's PSN servers, those are shit without the badly made meme "shi-".
>>60792576
>Try Sony's PSN servers
I would have to own a sony device before trying that, and I dont see that happening any time soon.
>>60792092
This. People wonder why Steam dominates the digital download market, it's because they actually put money behind their product. Origin makes me want to die every time I have to use it, and don't even fucking mention Uplay.

Can we stop pretending we need a $2000 rig to be productive.

this. 2 dollar Intel Pentium T4200 with integrated graphics is all you need for browsing and coding.

What's the big deal when you're earning $20K a month?
fucking fuck, why are networks such shit?! like printers....goad
So basically: I bought a tp-link archer T2U to make a hotspot.
it has its software and can create a soft-ap
which is goos. until you create it and it's just 2.4ghz
I fuckin bought a 433mbps wifi stick and my access point is limited to 65mb
there is NO SOFTWARE to create a 5ghz hotspot with editable channel
what the fuck should I do?!
>I bought a thing that doesn't have the feature I want
Why did you do that?
>>60908541
......it's a usb 5ghz pen with hotspot supported by native software....
why shouldn't I be able to create a 5ghz access point......?

depends on how you have it configured and if you're running something from an intelligence agency or russian government inside. highly unlikely though.

There was an exploit some time ago that allowed to jump out the vm by using i can't remember what vulnerability.
>>60908503
Can? Yes. Everything is possible. Just like the only 100% safe anti-virus is not being connected to the internet and not using any USB sticks/CD-ROMs etc.
In other words, no, it's very unlikely.
Hello.
I tried to drag n drop images on Gmail directly, but it doesn't work, it give me directly the url of the image while it was working for me months ago.
I'm using Chromium 58 (Stable) and last Chrome version (stable).
Also tried on both Firefox and Opera (stable) but they doesn't work. I don't know why, my friend have 0 issue with Chrome.
Image show up only if i insert the HTML code, but before it was automatically showed as image, adding HTML code for every image is annoying as hell for other sites than Gmail.
Doesn't anyone else experiencing the same issue ?
Thanks

why do people like this have a job still?

hmm
don't get me wrong, smaller, more readable code is nice, but so is performance, and less code doesn't always mean faster code

Post project you're working on in Python
Beginners can ask questions
Just don't be a dick, anon...just don't be a dick...
working on a sage bot
Why would I currently be working on anything in python?
If it's going to take more than one sitting to complete, I wouldn't write it in python

explain? Using selenium or what?
How trustworthy is LineageOS? Do you guys store any sensitive information on your phone that runs LineageOS?
About as trustworthy as any other program you did not write yourself.
More trustworthy than stock Android.
>>60791478
It's ok if you're not using Gapps and are making an active effort to use F-droid abd FLOSS apps instead of other types.
Realistically speaking, unless you have an auditable bootloader and modem (you don't), then you phone isn't 100% trustworthy no matter what you do
ok guys, there is a little puzle going around my town here in HUEland (brazil) and they're offering some kind of prize for the one who cracks this code. here's the translation of the text:
coloring and counting the alphabet
(test 08)
the first thing that we learn in school is the alphabet right? wrong.
first we learn the vowels and the colours, and each colour can be
a vowel. çater it gets easier to learn the rest of the alphabet, counting
vrom the vowels.
[IMAGE]
OBS: the answer must be sent via whatsapp to the number (***) containing
the number of the test and the answer text. if the test sends you to a CEP (post code)
or a CNPJ (National Registry of Legal Entity) the answer will be the name of the street or the
place.
red = vermelho
green = verde
yellow = amarelo
blue = azul
orange = laranja
5 colours, 5 vowels
Foda-se.
I don't speak huehue so it probably won't translate
