Alright I already made a thread on /b/ regarding this topic and I was recommended to make it here instead for safety reasons, anyways ima guy who travels a ton, and I need a good laptop that gets me above average performance on most games (mainly GTA and Overwatch) and I don't know much about pcs etc but it seems like a hastle to bring one. So all I'm asking if this laptop is worth getting ( and if not a better one that is)
The max I can spend is 950$

What is the text-editor choice of /g/?
For me it's vim, I would like to add an extension for auto-completing variable names, function names and such. I may just swich to something like atom - although that is made with (((Electron))).

I am pretty sure that I did everything right but apparently I didn't.
I followed the manual but when I release option button after connecting it to pc nothing happened, no flashing or anything. I tried few times but it doesn't work. Any idea what am I doing wrong?
5) Be sured that your X3 is totally charged. Turn it OFF and unplug the USB cable.
6) Run the script C:\xDuoo\Flash_Rockbox.bat (or C:\xDuoo\Flash_Stock.bat to return to the stock firmware);
7) Press and hold the button "OPTION" pressed;
8) Plug the USB cable connected to PC to X3 then release the button “OPTION”
9) Install the driver for JZ4760 USB Boot if you didn’t install it previously. It is available here: C:\xDuoo\Drivers;
10) The process of flashing must to begin. If it doesn’t start, unplug the USB cable and reset the player. Try flash it again (see prev. 5-8 points) The flashing lasts about 2-3 minutes.

I work in IT as a SysAdmin so I have a good understanding of what needs to happen, just not sure what programs I'll need and languages I'll have to learn. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
