>>60785600
I really need it right now
just want to know if this model isnt a complete piece of shit
Hmm. Sounds like a really good deal.
FYI, folks usually say pretty good things about MSI laptops.
TIP: lets do some digging and see how much (if at all) you can expand the memory to?
Is there a way to extract the text (text than you can select) from a pdf into a plaintext file? I want to read a roleplaying rule book on my phone but the pdf is too big and annoying to read on the small screen

How Internet Awesome is /g/?

Tell me why you hate Apple /g/?
Did you ever use their products or do you hate it because normies think its cool?
>not really
>yes and Louis Rossman
I have had 3 chargers die, every charger among my friends has a broken wire near the charging port.
Apple products are non upgradeable, they over heat, they are overpriced, they run slower and beachball at every instance of serious computing.
Not to mention apple users have a holier than thou smug attitude. As if they are smarter because they ascended to Apple and they look down on others using windows. When in reality most people using windows see through the BS and refuse to buy shitty products.
Thats why I hate Apple.
>>60907644
Most of us are poor and we don't have money to blow on products WAY overpriced for their technical specifications.
The glory of Apple isn't the product (as it should be), or even it's capabilities (also of note), or even the "Apple ecosystem". The real glory of Apple is how they can get morons to overpay for their bullshit, while convincing them it's better.
are they copying gnome now? what's with those window titles?
>>60785219
they are always copying someone. who cares who it is this time ?
Metro-PCS talks a lot of shit about Sprint, but are they worth all circle jerking?
Current/Former Customers, list your complaints and talk as much shit as you want.
They're great, no complaints. Down here in Miami 50 bucks covers me well. Uses the T Mobile network so you really can't go wrong.
>Live in Los Angeles.
Metro throttled my data and I had to call them on it every time. They thought I wasn't paying attention.
For the first 3 months, I got 5 - 15Mbps down during the day, 25 - 50 Mbps down at night. After the 3rd month, my speed dropped by 90%. I called and bitched, and they "refreshed" my service over the phone. Everything was great for a month. Rinse and repeat for many months.
Another thing they would do was lower my connection priority. I work concert security on weekends for extra money, so I'll be in a stadium/arena with 15,000 - 50,000 people. For the first 3 months, it wasn't a problem at all. Data was slow as hell, but I expected that. But when they started fucking around with me, I couldn't get connected at all, not even for SMS or calls. I had to call the day after work to bitch, and it was the same story as above.
The coverage was spectacular, and the speed was great when it was high. Even the phones are pretty good, always have been. Since I had my old Samsung Messager in 2009. I just got tired of their shenanigans every month.
I ditched them after about 18 months. Gonna switch to GoPhone when I feel like paying for a new phone. They actually have really good rates here now. $45 for 6GB of high speed data. I don't use much data and I rarely need a phone at all. That's the whole reason I always do prepaid.
I still have my Galaxy Core Prime though. I use it at home on wifi for tons of stuff. My old Galaxy Light's screen cracked and I threw it away.
They suck but they're the cheapest around
Has anyone here made their android tablet into a dual boot?
I have started to look into it and I think it good idea.
the only question i have is my device is on lolipop can i install the latest generic android OS for it?
What kind of retarded fucking question is this?
>>60784943
one from someone whom knows nothing about androids
>>60784970
you cant put windows on nearly any android phone. If the android has an x86 chip(read: some chinese tablets, and the Zenfone2) you might be able to hack it to do so... but its a lot of effort and ususally shit results.
You can run android on x86 windows computers via bluestacks, but its also pretty cludgy too.

>>60784732
you lost all the data in the write cache which hadnt been comitted to disk yet because i can only assume you didnt buy a enterprise class SSD. Other than that, nothing, they're designed to be hot plugged.

perfect, thank you!
I need to install a Windows instance on a VM but I have my concerns. Since Windows is a gigantic malware (20 GB) how can I make sure that it doesn't infect the host OS?
