Just got a job, enjoying my summer before I head back to college studying a STEM subject that I enjoy (math). Just got out of a relationship that I was unhappy with and am glad that I'm single, been having good success with women. About to go to a party this weekend with college friends I haven't seen since summer started, hopefully gonna hook up with one of the girls there. Lifts are going up and I'm really happy with how my body is looking even though I'm pretty DYEL.

Is there anyone else here who hates smokers, their smug, self-righteous attitude and their superiority complex? They are insufferable, and I try to stay as far away from them as I can, but if they were smoking right next to me, there's no telling what I'd do to them. I hate them immensely.

The reality is, you need to maintain all three of those things over a period of time to develop strength. That's why shit like periodization works.

Any advanced-level lifters - how long do you workout? I've been dedicated lifting for like 6-7 months now and usually workout for 2.5 or so hours. I see buff dudes come in and leave in half that. What am I missing?

optimal workout time is 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Hour and a half is absolute max if you're not on gear.

Make efficient use of your time, limit your rest between sets to no more than 1 minute, stay at relatively lighter weights for hypertropy. I can complete my entire back/bis workout in an hour and 30.
Example:
Bent over row: 15, 15, 12, 10, 10
T-bar row: 15, 15, 12, 10
Seated row: 15, 15, 12, 10
Wide grip lat pulldown: 15, 15, 12, 10
Straight Bar Bicep Curl: 15, 12, 12, 10
Narrow grip preacher curl: 12, 12, 10
Db isolation choice: 15, 12, 10, fail
All that is completed within an hour and half and i still have time to hit rear delts/weak points.
