>Go to Checlers/Rallys
>Get some delicious food
>Dip it in a nice thick milk shake
This is what I do, any other Rallys/Checkers fans here?
I don't dip my food in milkshakes, but I don't care if anyone else does. rallys has some of the best fast food, to bad its not around. most closed up and only the ones near the dark side of towns stayed.
but if i'm ever going thru. I get the banana shakes and some kind of bbq bacon burger and fries. if they offer two apple pies for a buck I get that too

No. The only time I tried it it was staffed by lazy blacks and there were flies everywhere. Plus they run it like a shack with only outside seating so in a place that has cold winter's it sucks dick to stand in the cold.
You're one of our non white posters I guess?

I love Rallys. I live in Louisiana, the only one around here is like 100 miles away from me in NO.

It is that time of the year again, Anons.
A "barbecue" hosted by your family to celebrate the 4th of July!
First, let's meet the star chefs:
>Your self-proclaimed meat expert uncle
>Your aunt who brings potato salad and "crispy" mac & velveeta
>Your mom who made a fruit platter
>Your hyperactive cousins that have permission to drink approx. four cans of soda
>Your dad who is cookin' up some barbecue classics, like Nathan's hot dogs on the gas grill
>AND MORE!
Let's start with the uncle. This pathetic normie is downing a second Bud Light when you get around talking to him and he is making some of his smash burgers on the grill. 95/5 lean ground beef (less fat = more health !!111!11111!) smothered on a disgusting, rusting gas grill with a distinct lack of salt. Place that on an untoasted potato roll with mayonnaise and ketchup and boom, classic barbecue served and dished up by your uncle. Then, some hot dogs. Cooked the exact same way. Anons, you have no idea how much this infuriates me.
The sheer AUDACITY these pathetic normies have to call this shit excuse of a cookout as a barbecue is mind-boggling. Discuss and share your thoughts on cookouts, barbecue, whatever you want.

>tfw there is a certain comfort to the normie cookout desu senpai
just got done hanging out at the lake tossing back some ice cold pabst and being white trash as fuck with my family out on the boat
Im pretty much the opposite of redneck white trash normally (im a total queer)
>>9126774
>less fat more health
REEEEEEEE TOO REAL REEEEEEEEEEE
>Nathan's hot dogs
Those are great hot dogs, though.
I like cookouts, but I don't think they're indispensable to the Independence Day experience. This year I'm bringing a picnic lunch to an outdoor concert instead.
How does your city's tap water stack up? I live in Orlando and it's fucking awful. I literally get a hangover from drinking this shit
mine is top notch but you have to run it for a full minute to get the best it has to offer
I've had bottled water that tastes worse than my tap water so I assume it's pretty good? Hard to measure honestly. I live in south jersey.
>>9125660
I live in the Southwest of the UK. The tap water is perfectly fine, though it tastes a little sharp, possibly due to chlorine or minerals. Boiling makes it milder.
Afternoon /ck/. I'm interested in making my own hot sauce so I wanted to hear about any recipes you might have tried and how they turned out. Any tips? I'd like to start with something very simple and I have a few things I'm wondering about that I'll make separate posts for. Also, I suppose hot sauce general.
>>9105055
So I want to start with a simple recipe and this is what I'm thinking:
Ingredients
1 pound trinidad scorpion peppers
2 cups distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon salt or to taste
Instructions
Cut the ends off the chilies, but do not remove the seeds.
Over high heat, add the chilies, vinegar, and salt into a large pot and bring the vinegar to a simmer.
Lower to medium heat and continue simmering for 5 minutes or until the chilies are soft.
Transfer the mix to a blender and blend until the mix is smooth. There will still be seeds.
Strain the sauce into a container and let it settle to room temperature.
For optimal taste, refrigerate for a week or two prior to use.
>I like that Dave's scorpion sauce so I wanted to go for something like that. Any thoughts on the recipe?

If you search bon appetit hot sauce they have a ton of recipes too. Doesn't have to be fermented

1 part vinegar
1 part pepper
1/6 part salt
grow your own peppers and make your own vinegar
Was just given a quart bag of dragon Cayenne peppers. Both green and red. Besides inclusion in dishes what the fuck do I do with them? I don't want them to spoil.

I've always wanted to extract capsaicin from peppers.
>>9136249
1. dehydrate them
2. make a salsa
3. grind them up with garlic, vinegar & salt into a paste for cooking.
4. stuff them with cheese, wrap with bacon and roast them to serve alongside a steak
5. dunno lol

My carrots only tell me racist jokes.
For me, it's baby carrots. The most acceptable use for ranch dressing.
I don't carrot all about this thread desu
>make wholemeal wraps with shredded chicken/beef/pork + lettuce + onions + broccoli for lunch every week
>millennial coworkers call me antisocial for making my own meals instead of joining them and spending $15 on lunch everyday

No, waterfowl are considered poultry or game, depending on the species.

Trump tweeted the word "covfefe" once by accident and it blew up for some reason
I am an extremely non-picky eater, I will eat pretty much anything...except for olives. I will never understand why these are a common ingredient in salads, they just taste so peculiarly foul to me.
>>9133066
It's the one tree in Italy that doesn't produce faggots and they managed to weaponize it.
I hate black olives, they're waaaaay too salty for my tastes, and I usually love salty foods. That said, they have their uses as an ingredient instead of a standalone thing (say, on pizzas). Green olives are great though, I can pop them like candy.
As for food I would never eat, liver. I don't know if it's just the ones I've had but the texture is like wet powder, and the flavour is way too intense and "offal-like".
>>9133066
I'm not very picky but I can't have mayonnaise or I'll puke. Before mayo fags go nuts, it's because I ate one of my dad's leftover sandwich as a kid and it gave me food poisoning. So I forever associate the two.
So many people just slather shit in mayo I always have to be very insistent about it. I also know 90% of "special sauce" is a lazy ass chef who squeezed some sirricha into mayo. So I avoid it even when they try to sneak it in.
True story on our ~5th date (I don't remember we were already banging though) my wife, at the time gf, ate a sandwich with mayo. I didn't say anything but afterwards she wanted to make out and get frisky. So I had to tell her this same rant I'm telling now, and told her we could tongue suck as soon as she brushed her teeth.
