I practice Vipassana meditation. Recently, I've been getting a really strong tingling sensation on the top of my head along with pressure. Is this the Crown Chakra being activated?
With Vipassana, you are not supposed to dwell on or play with particular sensations. But this has me very intrigued. I have never believed stuff about Chakras before but this is such a strong sensation and I can basically make it happen at will if I concentrate.
Is it a sign of awakening or spiritual progress?
It's a function that everybody has.
If people were present enough they would know.
But they aren't.
Yes it's spiritual progress. Whatever the hell this means.

When I meditate, often to binaural beats, I find this throbbing pressure in the cap of my skull, just above the forehead, and I wonder what it is. Here is what I found so far.
The feeling is that of my eyes experiencing Rapid Eye Movement, since many of the frequencies follow a pattern of focus, calm, relaxation, sleep, it is likely that one or more of these is causing my brain to enter REM.
However, I notice that my eyes are behind the pressure. They are rapidly moving. You might say "duh, that's what REM is, your eyes moving rapidly." You might say that, but my eyes are almost suffering an elliptical seizure without the "suffering" part. There are colors and shapes, patterns, etc that all warmly flow beneath my closed eyelids that become more intense in color and heat, almost blinding.
After the meditation, I am often feeling drowsy and lacking in balance while my brain is throbbing.

You aren't quite the brightest among them aren't you?
Life, by it's very nature, is irreversible, inextinguishable, taking hold in even the most inhospitable and remote locations of our Universe. But what if life, as we know it, was not native to this Universe, but something from far more sinister from beyond the veil? An infection, or virus if you will, from beyond the ever expanding edges of time and space within an otherwise sterile plane of existence where perhaps the stars themselves were the native mode of existence.
Yes, we are life, we are chaos, but we are also humbled and shaped in both body and mind by the principles and governing laws of this reality in which we live. But what if there was life that existed beyond the influences which have shaped us into cosmic bottom feeders? Imagine if you will life uninhibited by order as we perceive it, unfathomably profound and abstract, far closer to it's original state when first the infection bled into the corporeal than what we know it now.
What unimaginable horrors and many-angled visages might exist only within arms reach of us at any moment of our waking lives, separated only by the thin and fragile sub-atomic film of this reality's frequency? With minds that can only perceive order & reason dare we ever try to grasp that which exists beyond our fragile existence?

Hello there /x/ first time posting here but long time lurker. I have a simple question which could be considered non-paranormal. But still relative to the board. What are your beliefs? As a patron of /x/ what are your beliefs, that also includes the people who don't have any interest and belief in anything related to this board. So all I am asking is what ideas presented on this board do you really believe in? I could list all of the beliefs possible but that would be too many to list. So you all should get the idea. Its just a fun question that would gain a better understanding of what the majority of people would believe to some extent. At least on this board. I will not answer the question yet simply because I don't want to leave any imposition at this moment. So tell me /x/ what do you believe?
i believe anything that is explainable with science including delusions of the human mind.

but to mention something:
The least thing I believe in is astrology
I'm Christian. There are things I don't do, and things I can do. Very few things I outright don't think happen.
I can do tarot but don't anymore because the last two tarot readings I ever gave people... just didn't go well. I've learned to be careful what I ask for.
my friend wakes up with scratches all over their body sometimes. they've considered recording but decided against it because they "dont wanna find out what it is". theyre usually not that serious but sometimes theyre very deep.
advice? what could cause this?
its not them btw. they bite their fingernails to stumps.
this guy has rats in their house, topkek

>refering to your friend in plural
wew
Anyway, does he have a cat? I have two and I have woken up with a completely scratched back before.
Do they own a cat or dog?
Especially a cat...
Would it be possible to create a movie that kills? Like how films that can cause seizures and people to shit themselves exist.
sprinkle in some seizure inducing music+imagery and add some deep and loud ass bass. To make it real ear bleeding, brain melting shit

Make the machine jam up and explode.

propaganda films can be quite effective
Can I get some feedback, /x/? What do you think of this diagram, and does it provide you with any insight or interest? Does it remind you of anything? It basically just came to me in a dream (not literally a dream, but you know that half-dream-state when you're lying in bed), and it felt significant enough to quickly throw into a Word document, but I can't tell if it's just a personal insight or if it has the capacity to be helpful to others.

pls add a segment for peanut butter i rly like peanut butter
>>18229156
I think the fulfillment of physical hunger falls under "satiety," although depending on what you do with peanut butter, it might be orgasmic (like, are dogs involved?). Also, chunky or smooth?
Is death just permanent sleep? I could get used to that, I think
>>18228835
Actually I did almost die. I was dead for a few minutes until they brought me back. Dying does feel sort of like falling asleep only without the actual feeling of tiredness. Everything feels heavier and heavier and your sight dims until you are done for.
Being dead? Personally I think you get what you believe in. Some people think it's just your brain misfiring, but either way you're going to see something when you die and you won't be able to "wake up" from it unless you make it back to life. Good luck with that,
My last experience with death is that I zoned out and back in for an hour long while my wife kept punching me to keep me here. She hit me good with an uppercut and that's when I discovered I'd rather stay for a while.
Also, shit just paled and grayed until it was a static image, a very old image. Weird stuff, dying.
If you end up in one of two hollow places in Sheol, yes, it's sleep for a very long time. However, some people are fully awake if they go to the other hollow place. And then some people end up in some sort of paradise.
As far as death... for those who don't make it to the new world and heaven, you could say it is permanent sleep. It's the absolute erasement of existence. It's nothing, so to speak.
Have any of you gone urban exploring? I've been doing it for about 10 years and have seen some unexplainable shit in my time doing it. I usually do it by myself in the dead of night but occasionally I bring my cousin.
If this thread is active after I get back from the store I will unleash 10 years of paranormal urbex experiences. I hope I come back to some green texts of fellow urban explorers!

It's kinda concerning seeing this. The doujin was called Boku No Yome Zenpen. The rest of it was still dark working mainly in dark reds.
It just kinda goes on for a while
And then at the very end it just shows this
>Tips on how to do lucid dreaming?

>Try not making a thread in such a stupid way
>>18228450
>wake up in morning
>lay on back eyes closed
>control breathing like you're meditating
>go until your body feels unable to move
>RELAX do not break out
I forget the rest
>>18228450
Lucid dreaming is kinda easy to achieve. You need to some "mind training" first though. Doing reality tests. Meditation to enhance concentration and visualization. Things like that. Oh and a very good and helpful thing is to create your anchor.
Alright /x/ I've never posted here before but I'm kinda freaking out. I don't really believe in anything paranormal and whatnot but my beliefs are completely shattered by pic related. Nobody in the house has a footprint that small, plus the way the mirror is hung you can't put your foot up there especially a baby. Also there was hand prints I'll post that too
Here's the handprint
That's a level 6 spectral anomaly. Please use extreme caution in your investigations. Level 6s can get pretty nasty.
>>18228236
You've never seen where people do fake baby footprints by putting their fist down then put the toes in with their finger?

>Some useful tips before posting:
-New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
-Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.
-Some readers will refuse to do certain readings - respect that choice. Also, bullshit queries will get bullshit answers.
-An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!
-Avoid making the same question over and over and/or to different readers, this may lead to more confusion than clarification
-Please refer to the Dream General threads for dream interpretation
