Huh, i actually experience a similar thing, i wake up with very small cuts on my hands (especially my fingers) each week.

Its weird because its been happening since I was about 13 (im 19 now), I dont let my cat in my room when I'm going to sleep, I don't have sharp nails either (theyre way too small for cuts from nails anyway) and it definitely isn't rats.

It always happens at least once a week, and I've moved house 3 times since it started (my family moved around a lot).

It probably is just nail scratches or something but like i said my nails aren't sharp enough to make such cuts like that (theyre thin and very short but are noticable)

OP here. my friend doesnt own any animals, there is no rat problem, and years ago we already tried the oven mitt thing.
