given their key away yet. Santa barely visited their town. Something about not being able to cross the train tracks. Things would occasionally drop from the sleigh and the folks would scurry out the next morning and take what they could find into their houses, but that was about it.

Two years ago I drove up to my Grandpa's hunting cabin with:

a sleeping dummy
the John Deere generator
and a plate of oatmeal cookies laced with Chemical One
I strung up the cabin with the christmas lights real good. I was in the middle of nowhere but that may be all for the better. When i rigged up the generator it was the only source of light in the valley. Any santa coming over the quadrant would recognize it instantly. It's important to use incandescent bulbs. LEDs are more power efficient but the have a TV like glow more in the violet range. The incandescent burns warm like the necks of sleeping children. Santa sees in infrared. They say he has compound eyes.
I broke up plenty of cookies around the perimeter of the property. What he couldn't see he would definitely smell. That turned out to be a mistake.
