I'm twenty four. I grew up playing RBY, GS and the TCG. I don't know where my Gameboy is at, nor the games. I gave away my cards to someone a long time ago when I got into YGO. Those cards are in my attic. Pokemon GO came out and I'm playing that. Collected enough Blastoise figurines until I got a Zapdos, started playing on Pokemon-Planet today and downloaded a Red GBA Rom. Gen I best overall. Gen II best fire starter first evolution.

So from all the tracks we've heard so far (admittedly only a handful) does it sound like this guy is back? The wild battle music is obviously Masuda's creation but the trainer battle music and the town and route themes sound like they could be Ichinose's, or at the very least are in similar vain.
The XY soundtrack greatly suffered because it was primarily handled by newcomers or the parts of GF's sound team who have only contributed insignificantly to past soundtracks IMO, the only man who can truly bring the Pokemon music feel is that nigga Go Ichinose.
Also this can be a general OST thread as well.

What is this thread about? Well, Pokémon are real. I can't say much other than that.
Hey everyone, I basically just started my journey in the Alola region. I'm helping the professor, Kukui, to complete the PokéDex. While I was exploring Melemele Island, I saw pic related. Just... sitting there. It looks weird and blobby, and I have no idea what it is. PokéDex gives no info. Tried to capture it but it ran into the forest while making very strange noises. Anybody that knows what that is? Seems really unusual for this region.

Happened to me when my Game Boy's batteries died while saving. The worst part was that I had everything in the pokedex except Mew (the glitch to encounter it wasn't known at the time). You can imagine how pissed I was.

It's not about having battled once. First of all, Pokémon competitions usually require you to do at least 3 battles. But for this shiny Mewtwo, you're required to have earned at least 1 championship point.

What is the blandest Pokemon? Now this is not the worst designed Pokemon, as that elicits some form of reaction like revulsion or disgust, where as the blandest would have a lack of reaction in general, warranting an 'eh' or 'oh I forgot that exists' if anything. A design that is best described as, 'well it exists'.

Part 1
I'm posting some info that will be revealed in the August update. I will answer questions as best I can, but I don't have much more info.
>Riding is allowed after you get an item known as "Riding Gear", that basically encapsulates Air, Land and Sea Travel in much the same way X/Y allowed you to ride on Pokémon, except this time they're your own Pokémon
>The gear is based off of Mega Flygon, which will be revealed in the trailer as well. Bug/Dragon, ability is Sand Stream. The red "goggles" over it's eyes become a kind of cosmonaut bubble helmet, and the two antennae become really long and stick out of the helmet. Wings get bigger and it gets red blocky armor-like protrusions.
>Ridable Land Pokemon shown in the trailer are also shown a bit more. Arcanine, Tauros (again), Scolipede, Donphan (awesome shot of you using it like a bike, with you sitting on the seat like object and Donphan spinning like a wheel underneath you and kicking up massive dust), Drampa, Herdier (again), and Entei. Tauros' charge is shown breaking large boulders, no HM prompt needed.
>Ridable sea Pokémon shown are Sharpedo and Lapras (again), Starmie (You sit on a float like object and Starmie spins like a motor), Gyarados, and Bruxish's evolution Teeyemjaw (Water/Psychic). Same ability, but it has a worried look and a giant jaw with menacing teeth clasped tightly shut. You are shown to be able to scale waterfalls at will, without it asking for an HM.
>Air Travel is almost the exact same as soaring. Shown Pokemon are Flygon (in spirit of its mega reveal), Skarmory, Pakkapeppa (Pikepeks third stage, same type and ability), and Tropius. Lots of freewheeling and flips.

Mega flygon is GROUND dragon not bug sorry, don't know why I typed that.
The rest of the trailer shows the player running through a festival of fire dancers with dancing Belossoms and Hariyamas everywhere.
A shot is shown of a golden monkey idol style Pokemon, and an NPC explains it wont move unless you feed it the town specialty.
Last shot is Magearna awakening in a grassy field.
