So from all the tracks we've heard so far (admittedly only a handful) does it sound like this guy is back? The wild battle music is obviously Masuda's creation but the trainer battle music and the town and route themes sound like they could be Ichinose's, or at the very least are in similar vain.
The XY soundtrack greatly suffered because it was primarily handled by newcomers or the parts of GF's sound team who have only contributed insignificantly to past soundtracks IMO, the only man who can truly bring the Pokemon music feel is that nigga Go Ichinose.
Also this can be a general OST thread as well.

I'm not saying it was awful. For the most part the route themes are really great but it just didn't pack the same punch or have as many memorable or iconic tracks as the other games did.

maybe I'm weird but I never complained about pokemon game OST... and XY was definitely the best so far right after Johto, at least most memorable to me
