The information to be announced on August 1 will be the reveal of the 1st stage starter evolutions.

Rowlet will evolve into Hawcowl.

Hawcowl sports a green hood, tied at the bottom where Rowlet's bow tie was previously. Hawcowl gains elongated talons and meaner looking eyes. Becomes more owl/hawk shaped overall.

Litten evolves into Whiskulk.

Whiskulk remains quadrepedal. Whiskulk gains the dark typing. Whiskulk has a small mane/mohawk on his neck that has red tints. Whiskulk's whisker give off a bit of smoke on the ends. And overall is a bigger, longer, sleeker version of Litten.

Popplio will evolve into Pinnipop. Pinnipop gains the fighting type. Pinnipop is extremely acrobatic. When on land it balances on it's two front flippers. It's ears become longer and gain two balls the end and resemble a jesters cap. Pinnipop's neck frill gains small bubbles on the ends. Also gains a red, vest like coloration on it's chest area.

I'll include some crude sketch ups of their general designs, but just a heads up I am not an artist, the real designs will look much better.

EDIT: I just finished drawing them from memory and they look like trash. But hey, you get the general idea.

Believe me if you want, only time will prove my validity.

I don't quite understand why a Detective Pikachu movie is considered a bad thing.

>It isn't related to the anime in any way
>It isn't a retelling of the story of one of the main series games, instead being its own original story
>there's almost no chance of a Lucario or even a Charizard in a starring role
>no Megas
>no shitty plot about Pokemon being tools vs Pokemon being friends
>it's a lighthearted story that won't take itself seriously
>despite this, the characters still have depth and aren't soulless husks
>It'll all be animated so we don't have to see any little Asian boys

What are the negative points of this? That it's about a Pikachu? Oh no, how horrible. Except it's about a Pikachu with character, not a walking yellow cash cow like in the anime and all other forms of media.
The worst thing you could say about it is that they're making a movie for a spinoff that just released last year in Japan, has gotten no localization, and has a completely unfinished story, but there's a good chance that the movie will have a different story to the game(s) anyway.

Sup /vp/, I rarely come here but I recently got CFW installed on my 3Ds and I was wondering if you could still just save edit your files and inject perfect Pokes and get event mons just like that.
