The only thing that bothers me is Litten's final. It looks horrible, why would they do this. It had the potential to be something amazing like a big cat or something. but a wrestler? really? Litten was gonna be the starter I chose but now I'm having second thoughts if it is real.

Honestly, it probably would make more sense rather than making these default, considering that the mermaid looks feminine enough to not even being able to see it as anything else other than female. Lucha cat would be more arguable, since we do have overly masculine starters, but it's kind of hard seeing him as a female as well, although I can still... sort of picture it.

I really do hope there are at least gender differences, because otherwise, it's gonna be really hard trying to keep my original intent of having a male Popplio when its final evolution looks anything but that. And I already grew to love the little guy.

At least the owl's okay, just kinda wish he looked more like a owl, but I guess that's too much to ask considering it's Alola and everything needs to look like something that stands out.

I mean, there is definitely some Charizard love already, but I don't see the starters ever getting forms that change their most important feature, their types.

At BEST I could see them retconning Charizard Y into a different form, and Charizard X into its actual mega.
