No, it's neutral and NVE when attacking it. Hit another Pokemon that isn't Magnemite with Thunderbolt.

Also heat makes metal expand and strongmen can bend steel bars.

I think it's something about how if some insects were to scale, they'd have superhuman strength. Normal type is "neutral" to the rules and only deterred by durability.

Rocks are minerals. Ground includes the concept of pressure.

This sandcastle is a disgrace to mons like Chandelure and Aegislash.

It looks lankier and more streamlined. It's probably just more physically fit since it dances. I'm guessing it loses defense in favor of speed, and perhaps gets Dancer as an ability.

Mathematically speaking, that's a 25% drop in weight. So, yeah, that'd make sense.
