Fairy tales. Knight comes along, defeats the dragon, rescues the princess. That sort of deal, apparently.
Steel is neutral to Electric defensively.
>>27651731
>>steel, another conductive substance, is strong to electricity
No, it's neutral and NVE when attacking it. Hit another Pokemon that isn't Magnemite with Thunderbolt.
Also heat makes metal expand and strongmen can bend steel bars.
>re: Bug
I think it's something about how if some insects were to scale, they'd have superhuman strength. Normal type is "neutral" to the rules and only deterred by durability.
Rocks are minerals. Ground includes the concept of pressure.
>>27651731
>>steel, another conductive substance, is strong to electricity
steel is weak against electric, and electric is neutral to steel. dumbass.
>>27651731
Birds are light
Light means flight
Rocks aren't light
Rocks blight flight
Fighting and bug are hero types, so heirs fighting each other gets nothing done and it's a shitshow
>>27651731
>>steel is apparently no match for the muscles of fighting types
hit a metal sheet with a hammer
>>flying is weak to rock because reasons
throw some rocks at birds
>>ground is a thing when we already have rock
sand/dirt is different than hard rock
>>rock is actually weak against ground??
sand erosion? idk
>>poison is weak against psychic because why not?
you go to the doctor's after you get a food poisoning, right?
>>27651731
>water takes extra damage from electric types, presumably because water conducts electricity
yes this makes sense
>steel, another conductive substance, is strong to electricity
No, its neutral to it defensively and not very effective offensively
>steel is weak to fire instead, even though we all know jet fuel can't melt it
I think Steel is a poor translation to "metal" in which case, metal is melted and plied by fire thus weak to it.
>steel is apparently no match for the muscles of fighting types
Again, I think steel should be viewed as "metal" and can be beaten in
>flying is weak to rock because reasons
flying is weak to rock because rocks can knock birds out of the sky
>fairies destroy dragons and are immune to them. wtf kind of folklore is this based on?
The kind where faeries slay dragons and shit
>bugs and fighting types have trouble damaging each other, but bugs and normals just deal standard damage
Normal should be viewed as neutral, whereas imagine a hitmonchan trying to punch a fly and imagine a fly trying to hurt a hitmonchan
>>ground is a thing when we already have rock
ground =/= as rock you retard. Ground is made up of dirt and rock is made up of rocks. Ground literally grounds electricity whereas rocks are minerals and do not.
>rock is actually weak against ground??
have you see what an earthquake or a fissure does to rockfaces and boulders??
>>poison is weak against psychic because why not?
Because poison is based on the concept of sneakily being able to deliver said poison whereas a psychic can see the poison coming
>tl;dr
OP is a faggot
