Hello /vp/
I was wondering, if you'd take all the highest stats from every type (i.e. Blissey's HP, mewtwo's attack) and combine them into one single pokemon, which type would then come out as the strongest in the end.
So in the autistic spirit of /vp/, I found out in the most convoluted and time consuming way possible.
I can now present all 18 types, where the highest stats of every type has been combined into 18 pokemon that represent the best each type has to offer.
Rules:
>Legendaries, Megas, and primals are allowed
>Dual types are not restricted to one type
>Arceus is only counted as a normal type.
Starting at the bottom is the only type to suffer from having 0 legendaries and very few megas to help boost it's stats, poison

So what are the thoughts/theories/comments on Z moves? Idk how long they've been made known, but I just found out today from the new trailer.
Personally I hope Z moves are like an extra slot, since you only get one use per battle. I.E. I hope that you still get 4 moves as well as a Z move. Considering you have to take up your hold item slot AND have to have a move of the same type as the Z move, I think its the least they can do.

They work like mega evolution. You can only use a single z-move per fight, and it requires a held item. In the attack select screen it shows a button similar to the mega evolution button to trigger the z-move.
In addition to the mon specific z-moves, there is a generic z-Crystal for each type. In order to use a z-move a Pokemon must be of the correct species, OR with the generic crystals they must have a move that shares a type with the crystal.
If one of the leaks is to be believed, Z-crystals use the same button to activate as mega evolution does, and you cannot both use the same cool down, so you can't use both a Z-move and a mega. Take that with a grain of salt though.

id like official links for all of these bad boys. weve been taking this very seriously from day one, and were want to hit the networking for this shit from day one, which is hard when you dont have a url to search.. im not asking you to stay subbed if you hate the stuff, i just want some help to get these first 100.
after a few weeks of actually shooting and editing, weve realized we just need some better lights, a better mic, a ps4 camera, a bigger green screen, and we need to build some hardware for that screen. anywho, content should be up this month on all three.

Hello! This is the anon that made that Crabrawler V. Kingler (or Sandwich V. Burger) poll several weeks ago. And yes, in light of Alolan Raticate, it is time for me to extend on the same topic.
This is pretty obvious at this point, but generation 7 seems to be a big turning point for Pokemon. Trial Captains instead of gym leaders, Z-Moves, Hyper Training, etc. But what I want to focus on today (and what is probably the most important) are the Pokemon themselves.
You know those threads with the "gen 1 Crabrawler" and "gen 7 Krabby" pic? It's quite obvious that designs have changed. But what is fascinating to see is the fact that the inspiration and creation of these gen 7 Pokemon are so CREATIVE. Think about it. You all remember how the poll I made said that earlier generation Pokemon are simple, yet realistic, whereas recent Pokemon are not quite realistic, but creative and personality-filled.
See, any other person would make a regular old matamata turtle, coconut crab, or stag beetle line. But Gamefreak chose to make a SULFURIC LAND MINE matamata turtle, a BOXING coconut crab, and an ELECTRICAL stag beetle. And now, they've taken the relationship of the invasive rats and imported mongoose of Hawaii and taken it a step further as well, by making them a robber and detective respectively. Basically, Gamefreak is taking the ordinary and going that extra step further to make creative and personality-filled new Pokemon. And honestly, I kinda like that a little bit more.
