Between things like this and the increasing emphasis on including PoC in Pokemon titles, I have to say I'm very pleased with GameFreak's forward-thinking mindset as of late. I only wish more video game developers, especially in Japan, would be as socially conscious and inclusive. Anybody else really hyped for Sun and Moon because of this?

I was expecting Alola to have about 400, minus 3 for oricorio's forms, +whatever legendaries/mythicals they tack on
I figure 300~400 with 50~100 new Pokemon/regional-variants will be a sweet spot for both variety and new options. It also means they can have 100+ Pokemon per island, with certain Pokemon available on multiple islands which makes more sense than Kalos' zones being right next to each other but with very little population overlap.

Look, I understand, agony over hearing people who haven't touched the games shit on them and make wild claims that every pokemon after the first 150 is bad.
But for the anime? Why is someone who loves the games but hates what the anime has become a genwunner?
