I've tried coin spamming meowth multiple times to item max out for mega dactyl. I'm using maxed Mega gengar, lv8 septile, lvl 8almost 9 lucario, and lvl8 swampter or a level 7 Milotic. I'm trying to get blastoisnite but I just can't get the :55 blastoise for the final challenge

A lot of the changed cries sound pretty bland to me, like they got rid of any pitch changes. Salamence comes to mind. I liked its old cry a lot, but now it just sounds like static.

Pokemon cries have always sounded like fucking nightmares, but it's still not as stupid as them having them say their name

I liked Gen V, but I think VII was a lot better in terms of the narrative, even though I had issues with it and think Black/White had a stronger conclusion.

I know someone who insists Black/White is the best, though, just because Ghetsis tried to kill you and stuff.
