If I'm not wrong, in some translations you can read in Malie library Solgaleo was named in ancient alolan language "Laliona, the solar lion" and Lunala "Mahina Pe'a, the lunar bat" (in The Light of Alola during the main plot)
Why this isn't in the english version? Anyone know if it's in the japanese version?

When you talk to Pokémon in the overworld they have speech bubbles with text in them.
Solgaleo goes "La-lionaaa" or something to that effect.

In french, "Laliona" is Solgaleo's cry transcribed as text.

I just verified but the book just says "Solgaleo" in my french version, so "Laliona" is only heard when Solgaleo cries its name.
