Okay I have to be missing something, but how do you high five Pokemon? I've tried it with so many different Pokemon and I'm not sure how to do it. Everyone says "hold above the pokemon's head" or "hold your hand out" and I can't seem to get it.

I have no idea which ones can to be honest. I tried with all three final starter evolutions, I would have thought at least incineroar and Decidueye would be able to but apparently not. I tried with Krookadile too, no dice. So yeah I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a Pokemon worthy of a high five or not.

It's pretty random sometimes, some pokemon that you'd imagine can easily high five can't but others with no hands can. Mimikyu and Cosmog can do it, for example.

I have 5 affection with Pokemon like incineroar and it doesn't work, but it did work with litten, which is odd. I guess it's only certain Pokemon like the other anons said. That or I'm doing it wrong.
