Can we all agree that this game is shit by today's standards? Majora's Mask did everything that Ocarina did, but better.
I'm not baiting here. Ocarina really isn't that good. Sure, it was revolutionary, but it's just bad by today's standards. Goldeneye was the first game of it's kind, but now it would be given a 3/10 rating on steam if it was released today. Ocarina is the same way. It takes itself WAY too seriously, the story is simplistic, the combat is slow and clunky, and it can be downright retarded at times (Water Dungeon).
However, the thing that really killed the game for me is this: Link is just too damn slow. Hyrule field was a pain in the ass, but it wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't so big or Link coul move faster on his feet (like I said, Majora did everything Ocarina did, but better).
I respect it for what it did for the gaming genre, but overweight obnoxious 30+ year old virgins heralding it as the best game ever can fuck off.
Disclaimer: it's okay to be a overweight 30+ year old virgin, but not an obnoxious one.
It was good but it aged like milk. Majora's Mask on the other hand, aged like wine. It's concepts of putting you on a timer are still as genius as it was 17 years ago. It's probably the only game that can turn something that would normally be a game's downfall into one of it's greatest strengths.
The concept of impending death is still a concept it did better than most games who go for that same theme. It's a game that can be loved by kids and adults alike.
People like MM because it's still innovative to this day.
People like Ocarina because of muh nostalgia.

What's the rarest gaming console you own, /v/?
Picked this up just today.. I've heard of it before but never seen one in the wild. For those that don't know, it's an official hybrid Sega Genesis and Sega CD console that can also play audio CD's making it a portable CD player.
It's a pretty nifty piece of tech, though not too cheap. Trying to amass a collection of games for both at the moment. Show me what you've got!
Also, anyone have some recommendations for both Genesis and Sega CD?

She's okay. The beginning of the game where it was just MC with Ryuji/Morgana/Ann was pretty nice actually, even if I'm not a massive fan of those characters individually.
I think her Confidant should've been different though (Shiho's stuff could've been it's own Confidant too for closure on that minor point)

All the way back in 2012 Capcom said it wanted to reduce the development time on subsequent titles in the DMC series to 2.5 years. At the end, the article
speculates that according to this objective the next one would be released in the summer of 2015. That's exactly what happened. Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition was released in June 2015. So... when we add to this analysis the facts that:-

It's utterly idiotic to NOT expect an announcement this E3. I have personally placed Devil May Cry 5 to be squarely in Jan 2018. Haters, shitposters and pussies will deny all the evidence but have faith Devil bros. Unreal vs Quake Champions
I'd read a little while ago that people were worried QC would overshadow UT. After playing quite a bit of the beta, this really isn't a justified fear anymore. QC brings nothing to the table. It's stale and outdated mechanics plus the worst parts of games like Overwatch. I've always been a fan of both, but this mess is a worse version of Quake Live at best. They didn't add anything but "champion powers" and made all the guns feel very weak and bland. I've always been a fan of both, but holy fuck does UT hold a strong advantage here. The only real competition unreal has is Titanfall 2, but I think it offers enough to separate itself.
I implore everyone to try out the quake beta, and I really want to hear how I'm wrong because right now I'm a little pissed. I assumed it would be good and bought the shirt forever ago. Now it just feels like I wasted a whole lot of effort and caring.
