WHERE WERE YOU WHEN BLIZZARD WON?
>when replaying 20 year old games is more enticing than the prospect of any new game
>>380761887Legacy servers?
>>380762389
You'd think that with all these remasters they would, but for some reason they don't consider legacy servers the same as remasters even though it's the exact same fucking thing and takes significantly less effort.
Anyone else tired of over realistic games? They've come to a point where games are stopping of having a style and just are adopting the same realistic design every other game has, and they don't even have a different atmospheric design, so they feel the same. I can't even differentiate between graphical comparisons already, like I can say "OK, this one looks darker and this lighter" BUT I CAN'T EVEN TELL WHICH LOOKS BETTER.
>>380761605
More annoyed rather than tired. It works well for some games, but games with a high level of interactivity (like fps or rpg) suffer greatly from those graphics as it makes it either really hard to tell where the relevant objects in the game are or they will have some disgusting outline.
Looks literally identical
I wish there were more double AA/ b games around this gen, they had a unique artstyle too them and were never too super serious or cinematic.
What games can I be a bear?
Learn English, motherfucker.
Black and White

Bear Simulator 2011
Legitimately think this might be the best game ever. The only "complaint" is Snowmads over Kremlings but they're not really any more or less interesting than the Kremlings were in the original game and far better than the Tikis.
But man that level design is literal perfection.
>tfw Metroid shitters hated this game's announcement because of misplaced expectations
>tfw it turns out even better than Returns
I'm not sure about being the best game ever but it's certainly one of the best 2D platformers I've played. I'm not really bothered about the lack of animal buddies, most of them were just gimmicky anyway. The only ones that I felt added to the game were Rambi (who makes a return) and Enguarde (who is rendered obsolete by the new swimming controls).
>>380761560
I'm really looking forward to the next game. I think the third game is the best time to bring the Kremlings back, but I wouldn't mind if they didn't return as long as they have a cool tribe. Tikis were awful, Snowmads were pretty good, aside from the penguins.
Can we just admit this has been one of the best E3's in years?
>EA kicks it off, usually has nothing of any interest besides AAA garbage and reminders that they have exclusive rights to star wars games
>Instead we get A Way Out, Star Wars Battlefront 2 was overly featured but is closer to the originals and has free DLC
>Ubisoft similarly rarely has anything of note for a /v/ audience
>Instead they show off multiplayer pirates, the sequel to that open world racing game with offroad looked alright, and Beyond Good and Evil 2
>Plus a fucking WE meme during the conference
>Xbox is actually trying to be competitive again, if you don't own a gaming PC with Windows 10 most of the games they showed off were exclusives, Xbone X is a cool piece of hardware and seemingly super powerful, backwards compatibility meaning Xbone is the only place to easily get the classic Xbox library is awesome
>Devolver digital apparently hijacked the E3 stream in order to make their conference happen, directly followed by ten hours of the pre pre show
>Bethesda had a hilariously terrible showing. Coming to half the other conferences to peddle Skyrim and Fallout 4, announcing paid mods and a meh Wolfenstein sequel at their own conference
>Nintendo came in hot with like 13 total exclusive video games shown off to varying degrees
>As well as crossplay for multiplats like Rocket League and Minecraft which if it becomes the norm could make multiplatform games on the Switch more viable
>Ridiculous memorable shit like Microsoft peddling the car, the youtuber's brain short circuiting at EA's show and the A Way Out lead developer talking about the game, Rabbids in fucking Mario, Bethesdaland being used a a cute facade to introduce paid mods, THE FUTURES FUTURE, etc
Sony and the PC Gaming conference were the only ones that were nothing of note in one direction or the other really.
Overall this is probably my favorite E3 since 2010.
honestly? no, it was shit
>>380761483
How many pounds of dust does your PS4 have on it?
>>380761215
When all was said and done there were about 13 games that I am looking forward to.
That is a LOT more than usual for e3.
I'm happy about this one.
So this game's dead, right?
pls no
i need red orchestra 3 afghanistan to be a thing
>>380761167
It is effectively pretty dead. Devs launched it with 5 maps. Of those only a few see steady play. The scoring system punishes players for playing the second round. The game lacks the salt to really maintain interest.
i haven't played in 4 days
>sonic mania
>super mario odyssey
where were you when you realized the best mario AND the best sonic game is coming out this year?
Don't you mean Forces? Mania looks meh.
>>380761326
This.
>>380761326
This. I just can't be excited or interested in Mania, it looks boring.
>the only thing you want from video games is to play as a cute girl
Anyone else share this feel?
No I'm not a cuck.
Back to NeoFag with you.
>>380761015
I want to FUCK THAT ANIME'S ASSHOLE RAW
>>380761015
Too little ass.
does anyone here tried to use Joy Con controllers on PC?
i mainly play games on bed and kinda want to use it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=38&v=MEP2JxozdPQ
should i buy it a pair of them?
(i dont have switch)
are they comfortable (playing each with one hand)
also can i charge them without switch?
>>380760981
>are they comfortable (playing each with one hand)
Yes, I do it all the time lying in bed while playing Zelda
>also can i charge them without switch?
yeah but you have to buy pic related to do so
>>380761275
How's the analog stick positioning on the right Joy Con?
It looks very unpractical and out of place, especially if you were to hold it in one hand.
>>380761487
A lot better than you would think. It's s very comfy controller. Id recommend it, just need a way to charge them
what are some games where you can do a no-kill playthrough with high intelligence? because that sounds like bullshit to me
>>380760913
MGS4? There's the non-lethal weapons
>>380760913

Wormynugget taking MkLeo to game 3. There were a metric fuckton of upsets in CEO Smash 4 last year.
What was his fucking problem?
>>380760526
He's absurdly insane/
>>380760526
He was pretty much Cartman in a JRPG setting. Also the abusive parents.
Terrible and abusive parents
His friend becomes a hero overnight, leaving him behind
An evil alien overlord commanding him around
Which one is right?
Mostly positive, but what Take Two is straight up retarded for not knowing how their own game works.
>"WAAHH I cant exploit this developers intellectual property"
>"Ill leave a bad score, that'll show em"
theres a reason no one puts effort into PC ports. A community of children with expensive toys
Most of the negative reviews are now knee-jerks to the Take Two thing, but there were still plenty of negative reviews before that outlining the rest of the problems with the game.
Is there a better Water level in gaming?
Sonic levels are like those Automatic Mario levels in Mario Maker.
It's fun once or twice, but then you wish it was actual platforming every time you experience it again.
>>380760353
I can,t see shit, is that packman or something boy?
>>380760769
Try opening the image, retard.
Would you buy it /v/?
as someone who still regularly plays doom 1/2, wolfenstein 3d just isn't fun anymore
RTCW is still pretty good but >>380760492 is right about wolf 3d
>>380760351
Already got it.
Return to the castle wolfenstein is a 10/10. Really needs a remake.
