I've used a couple time with my mac and while it works pretty good on emulators you should really look for something else since they are overpriced as fuck. get an Xbox one controller or a Switch pro controller.

both joy cons feel pretty much the same when using the straps. however I don't know if you can use both joy cons as a single controller, back when I used them they count as separate ones
