They're not the cleanest fit in Sonic's happy-go-lucky world. They came out of a niche game (Knuckles' Chaotix), they run a detective agency that is regularly underwater, and they don't have a clear allegience to good or evil, only money.

Rouge is underutilized as well. She's portrayed as the most mature and savvy member of the entourage with multiple careers and skillsets, but she doesn't often get to really show them off. Nowadays, she's only really portrayed as "Shadow's handler" who steals gems on the side and answers to some nebulous government agency.

I like Vector.

They fell victim of Iizuka syndrome. Characters that were playable in a game but then thrown to the side or to spin offs so they can make room for Sonic, classic Sonic, Werehog and a custom hero which renders everyone else useless.

had great fun with it for 2 weeks. Perfect game to chill out to, and listen to a podcast in the meantime.

God, I spent 1 hour on just decorating a hot-dog stand, and loved every second of it.

I haven't kept myself updated with new content, but it quickly died out for me. No real career/challenge mode that I enjoyed, and the still pretty limited amount of themes for decoration got worn out pretty quick.

But maybe that was just my lack of imagination.

Creation is tedious, everything has to be made into a blueprint, you can select multiple parts of different buildings (because everything becomes its own bulding) but can't copy them until you make them into a blueprint, and you have to do this each and everytime and go through with filling in blueprint "tags" or it wont let it save

Its the most frustrating, unintuitive creation system I've ever seen. I'm so glad I waited till it was cracked and never bought it on impulse
