Jup

>UK
>worth the money
No, they never are prices here are fucked
>>382917729
100%
although i would recommend a desktop with the same specs over a laptop anyday you absoloute trash
>>382918470
Kek
>>382918617
That's the thing my job requires me to travel a lot and I can't take my desktop everywhere with me so I had to come to this
>>382917729
Not a bad price for what you get
>>382917729
Absolutely not.
You'd get a GTX 1080, i7 7700K PC build for close to that price if you just assembled your own desktop.

You laugh but I'm right, even computer components are a joke here. Check out /g/ they have a thread up for questions that dont deserve their own thread you're more likely to find decent advice there
>>382918771
then yes its worth it, will be running vidya at medium in a year or 2 though, ignore all the retards that tell you its not worth it bc (insert desktop rant)
>>382918775
Seems too expensive for me
>>382919060
Posted in /g/ and they weren't very helpful ( this is the internet what did I expect? :D)
>>382917729
For that price? Not bad, and the 1050 is a bit better than the previous 960m, which is what I got in my MSI laptop
>get it if you travel alot and stay in hotels often
>build a pc with pcpartpicker website for the same price and a better gpu(unless you play solitaire)
>>382919070
Thanks for the heads up
I won't be running much games on it though especially games that rely on graphics mostly for projects.
>>382917729
OP please can you tell where is selling this for that price? I'm looking for a new laptop too
OP check this out
https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusVIII-15/
You can configure it with an i7, 8GB ram, 1050ti, 1TB HDD and 128GB SSD for £861 if you take off Windows and buy that somewhere else for £20.
>>382919070
But desktops aren't worth it either, UK prices suck. They aren't as good value as they used to be
>>382919365
How long have you had your laptop for?
If you take unplug the charger does the fps in games drop?
Does the computer sound like a jet engine after a few hours of playing vidya?
>£861.12
>GTX 1050
That's just pitiful
>>382919619
Amazon sadly

>>382919667
Thanks dude, but is pcspecialist reliable?
>>382919670
Ikr, sucks to be in the UK
>>382919419
you could also wait a little while for the next gen processors to come out, prices will drop everywhere then
>>382919897
A couple of my friends have bought laptops from them in the past (like 4 years ago) and they've been good quality and are still going today.
>>382919897
pcspecialist are decent, make sure you get the 1050ti with 4gb RAM. 2GB isn't really enough atm
>>382920053
You're right might as well wait until 2020 xD
>>382920080
Good to hear I'll look into it
>>382920236
Thanks for the advice
>>382919897
>>382920236
Oh and a 7200rpm hard drive so you don't have to suffer long load times
>>382920467
Got it, cheers
Get an ASUS ROG, The MSIs are absolute shit. Good components shit cooling causes everything to throttle down. Just Google MSI overheating.
>>382917729
i have the same laptop, which im using right now, but with a 970. its pretty good once you get situated.
Honestly that's pretty good, If I was in the market for a laptop I would grab that.
