>He never basked in the glory that was backyard baseball
Sorry kiddo, I don't think you're old enough for this site
Reminder that if you didn't use Sammy sosa you're bitch made
Do you guys think it'll be fun?
>>387536230
The Fox engine is great, I think it might even save this game to at least be 5-6/10, hopefully a 7
>>387536230
The game has all the tools to be fantastic. It's got the engine, it's got the designers, and it's got the production capability/funding. All it has to do is forget being a Metal Gear game and focus on gameplay depth. MGS5 did all the hard work for them so it would be difficult to fuck up.
>>387536230
Nope, dead on arrival as well
Holy shit you guys were right, this is absolute garbage. This game doesn't feel like Dark Souls at all. I feel like dropping it after the first boss. Does it get better?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg2IGTQsvZY
Love this OST though
>>387643170
Took you long enough fag
>>387643439
Yeah, I still haven't played Dark Souls 3 as well
>>387643170
Not really, it's the best Dark Souls game. Only loses to Bloodborne. Loses to Demon's Souls if you like story.
Dark Souls 1 is dogshit after Anor Londo and Dark Souls 3 is worthless other than 4 boss fights.
Seriously who designed this piece of shit? How do I get pass this? I hate you for memeing me to buy this game
I liked but it clearly has DUDE HARD DIE ! YOU DIED memes
fuck Sonic Mania and fuck you
>b-but gitgut
FUCK OFF GO FUCK YOURSELF I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR "DUDE I AM A HARDCORE GAMER" OPINION
can someone help me please?
AH HA HA HA, those shitty electric coils from Wacky Workbench are in this stage. I didn't even know, I didn't see them when I played through it.
>>387536187
>>387536287
Never seen this part either myself.
I'm assuming this is the lower route.
Aka the route for lesser skilled players.
>>387536287
well yeah.
You have to suck pretty fucking hard and fall to the low path to see them.
The voice actor strike is good because studios will hire non-union talent and games wont be dominated by the Troy Baker/Grey De Lisle/Ashley Burch cartel.
Discuss.
How did unions go from one of the backbones of the American middle class to a bunch off assholes demanding exorbitant amounts of money from people with exorbitant amounts of money to give to people wi th exorbitant amounts of money?
>>387536395
What makes you think they\re requesting an exorbitant amount? They just want an honest wage
>>387536515
The want fucking royalties
>everyone forgets my birthday
>everyone but Relic
>sends me a 50% coupon for DoW3
>remember a lot of shills saying the game was bad
>#FakeNews [dab] on them haters
>buy the game and install it
Ohh nooo.....
noo.
it's not fake news. this game bites man.
it hurts so much I loved DoW 1 and 2 unironically.
>>387535780
I know that feel, drumpfposter.
>>387535780
we all know that feel
>play at friends house
>he even seems kind meh about it
>go home disappointing afterwards
>realize that since this tanked so hard there is a reasonable chance they might shelf the IP unless someone else makes an wh40k RTS
>my face
>>387537628
>there is a reasonable chance they might shelf the IP unless someone else makes an wh40k RTS
The only people who license the 40k ip any more just make mobile shit.
A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON.
>>387535218
>make new character
>open first chest
>A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
>make another new character
>open first chest
>A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
>make ANOTHER new character
>open first chest
>A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
>decide I may as well do a Paladin build this time
>decide I want to use Dawnbreaker and I'll just tell Meridia to fuck off to her elf fetish books when she tells me to be her champion
>ten thousand chests later and still no new beacon
Explain this bullshit.
>>387535487
Are you level 10? The beacon only spawns after you hit level 10, which makes me doubt it was in the first chest you ever looted on three different playthroughs
>>387535487
You can go to her statue and she'll tell you where the beacon is.
>craft an excellent game with superb atmosphere, good level design, and solid gameplay mechanics mixed with interesting lore and a compelling villain
>add in some great visual design and interesting combat scenarios that encourage you to approach every situation carefully while conserving your limited resources as well as exploring each level fully to find everything you can make use of
>kill the great villain off at the 2/3 mark and rush the final act of the game through a bunch of poorly designed combat tunnels while drowning the player in ammo so they don't have to look for it, culminating in a literal escort mission mixed with an obstacle course and awful final boss fight
>then play a cutscene less than a minute long for the ending that skims over literally everything important and interesting in the story
What did Ken Levine mean by this? No, fucking seriously, what the Hell? Everything was fantastic up until Ryan died and even then the next bit where you're looking for the antidote was decent even if it isn't as good as what came before, but the final stretch is fucking trash. Was it a budget issue?
I seriously think he suffered a head injury during development that robbed him of his intellect, hence the last bit sucking along with all of Infinite.
I mean Christ you know shit has gone bad when the sequel developed as a cashgrab without the original creator winds up miles better than the one where they're back on board.
>>387535338
Wait, is 2 actually worth playing?
>>387535458
If you want to learn more about Rapture and play a somewhat diluted version of the first half of 1 then yes.
What is it about card games that makes them endlessly replayable but video games get old after 1-2 playthroughs?
>>387535036
>video games get old after 1-2 playthroughs
No. Current AAA games are like that - they care more about creating interactive movie eye candy, then something that has high replayability instead. Games before 2000 - 2007 are not like that.
>>387535732
>Games before 2000 - 2007 are not like that
There are individuals who play Poker every week for like their entire lives
You will eventually get bored of playing Half-Life at some point if you just keep playing through the game. And you'll need something else like a mod to keep yourself going with it.
>>387535036
>>387536242
Because they're multiplayer you idiots.
What's the flavor of the month this month /v/?
Is it literally one person creating these fucking threads?
>>387534754
PUBG will be the fotm for the next few years
>>387534754
PUBG was flavor of the months a couple months ago. It's here to stay.

I am certainly glad that this isn't coming to PC
Yup
Looks amazing

It's space sim the worse genre in existence?
>Recent games are Elite: Grinderous and Scam Citizen or 2D indie shit
>Freelancer is an unfinished game
>X series are economy sims
>Old sims are too dated and, anyway, they wasn't that great
Why is so hard to make a proper space game?
Limit Theory is supposed to be a freelancer/x series game but it's been in development for so long I doubt it'll ever come out.
Rebel Galaxy is alright, more casual than most space sims.
I like X games but even I will admit it isn't for everyone
>>387534478
Because instead of focusing on exploration of the universe with a crew you get to know they focus on the economy and aspects that are boring because we are already familiar with them
What would you like to see in a Mario and Luigi game on the Switch?
>>387534415
Sure why not? The more games the better.
>>387534461
>What would you like to see in a Mario and Luigi game on the Switch
One of the best DRPGs the vita has to offer is out for PC. Why are you not playing it /v/?
>compile heart
call me when they port dungeon travelers 2
>>387534338

thanks
>>387534338
because i already played on the vita and i dont have a reason to buy it again
What went terribly, terribly wrong?
Nothing terribly wrong.
The game is much easier on the eyes compared to RO2.
The map variety is shitty if you don't rely on the few custom map servers.
The guns arefun
and the gook/american hate people shout over team chat is always hilarious.
>>387534446
>>387534231
PR is still better than both, prove me wrong.
You can't.
