What's the best racing game on the N64?
Mine's go to either this or World Driving Championship
>>376808131
Extreme G, I also have vague memories of Multi Racing Championship, F1 World Grand Prix and Rush San Francisco
Wave Race
>>376808131
The title theme of that game is amazing, and it always brings back fond memories of playing the 64 with my dad and brothers, he fucking loves that game.

>Your first game is a success
>Now we need your second game to target the mass market, to appeal to even greater audiences
>We want the Call of Duty audience. This is not a debate. Do it.
>Ok, we need you to make a game nobody wants, that's shit, and be sure to make it ugly as fuck
>/v/'s wet dream
>>376809174
What is a call of duty market
>tfw Season 2 never ever
i feel ever lasting unending pain
>>376807993
It really is bullshit. Fucking Minecraft 2 and 007 of all things are coming out. Bit yhe only good game TT has made ends on a cliffhanger.
>>376808142
The worse part is that the comics have a different endingOk, so the trial with the crooked man happened, but then got post poned or something like that, so the crooked man is in a holding cell, asks for a shaving kit, goes in the mirror that came with it, shows back up in the real world and puts a ring on Nerissa who's Fable
>>376807993
why would you want this? it's fucking telltale. only good they ever did was this and season 1 of twd, and even then both are meh.

>Playstation's: Dino Crisis & Resident Evil
How similar are these gameplay-wise? I was thinking to try RE2 after my Dino Crisis is completed.
Bonus question: Is RE2 better than RE3?
>>376807020
Very similar.
early bump
>>376807020
pretty much the same.
These are the graphics a tablet can produce in 2017. Wow, astonishing.
You are one of those faggots that thinks Horizon Zero Dawn looks good because of the screenshots and never play the fucking game
>>376806802
Pretty good right?
>>376806802
So it is a Handheld and it's actually impressive? Or is it a Console and it's still better than the Wii U either way?
Why is it so cancer?
>most players will kill you for no reason, sometimes continuously
>it's stupid easy to get jets and ruin the entire lobby for everyone
>car physics suck
>nothing to do past the city limits
>character customization is shit
>radio is shit
everything is shit.
but at least the stunt races can be fun.
>>376807863
Customization is cringe
Every fucker looks the same
Fanbase is cancer
Take Two is the most cancerous publisher on earth, far above EA and Ubisoft
I'm looking for games similar to Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus. One thing I liked about these games is how they flow, it's just a joy to move around in these worlds. The controls are really just pleasant on their own, the worlds even despite their restrictions feel open and you aren't constantly interrupted by cinematics and exposition. I like that the worlds themselves were really unique and weird, despite Dark Souls being firmly established in the tradition of classic fantasy.
In terms of settings I even more love the weirdness of games like Morrowind, Planescape or Planescape, so if it had some of that quality, that would be even better (but not the gameplay of those).
Has to be for pc or emulatable and not too new.
>>376806536
Severance: Blade of Darkness, and the King's Field/Shadow Tower games.
Ultima Underworld/Arx Fatalis is also worth keeping an eye out on, but there's a fair amount of dialogue and quests in that.
>The controls are really just pleasant on their own
bait
>>376806536
>I'm looking for games similar to Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus.
I can think of one, but it'sDRAGON'S DOGMA.It's a game that's not for everyone.
Why aren't you playing the best indie game of a month, /v/?
>>376806342
I don't buy Early Access games.
Finish your fucking game before you sell it.
>>376806342
I'll buy it on release. Don't want to cuck myself over.
>>376806342
Because I don't know what it is and you didn't say what it was called.
>5 maps only
>those maps are shit
>new mode sucks
>gunplay sucks
>automatic weapons sucks
>whole game is a turd
>how did the fuck it up?
RO2/RS are masterpieces but what the fuck is this shit? Feels like a cheap cashgrab
>>376806198
Hey OP there are plenty of other games out there if this one wasn't to your taste. I hope you find a game you enjoy. Have a great day!
>>376806198
It's only $20. Why are you bitching? Are you that poor?
The game is fun, plus, it'll have mod support on launch, on top of free content updates.
>>376806198
>tripwire
It's like you never learn
GTA 5 for Xbox 1. I almost beat this game on my 360 but it broke and I bought a Xbox 1. Is there any way to skip ahead in the game? Like download a file and load it on with a majority of the missions beat?
>>376805913
install gentoo
>>376805970
Never heard of that app, what does it do
>>376805970
It's Linux. It won't help me at all. Dude not everybody wants or needs a some mega computer with awesome top of the line graphics. I just want to drink some beer and play a little every once in a while
In light of the rumors about Thief 5 and an accompanying movie being in production, lets have a Thief thread.
What's your favorite:
>Official Mission
>FM
>thing about Thief that Thi4f butchered
bonehoard
the tower
rope arrows
Where can I find good fan missions?
>>376805956
There are a bunch of sites to download FMs but I don't think any single one is complete. Here are some that I keep bookmarked.
http://thiefmissions.com
http://www.gnartsch.de/Thief-FM/Thief_updates.shtml
http://www.southquarter.com/fms/
http://darkfate.org/view/details/fan-missions
And of course, new FMs are usually if not always announced on ttlg.
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=100
As for finding out which ones are good, just pay attention to recommendations you see on /v/, and make note of the author of missions you like and see if they have anything else. There's also a long FM review thread on rpgcodex which may help, and some authors post there. But obviously a review isn't the final word on a mission's quality. There are missions I've loved that got a bad review there and vice versa so don't be afraid to try things out.

Do people seriously ask "how do i know which character to main"? What i mean is, who comes into the fighting genre only looking to pick something that is high tier instead of picking based on character and just getting good?
Surley there still needs to be actual enjoyment involved rather than just being a robot who picks what is efficient before hand? I have always picked who i like, even if they are shit or hard, because i like them.
What do you do /v/? My mains btw
>Kazuya Mishima
>Sakura Kasugano
>sometimes Makoto (SF)
>Eileen (VF)
>Cassandra (SC)
All picked for no reason other than i liked them. But ehat about you?
>>376807774
It's something about human nature.
You know deep down that even if somehow you became the best at your character, someone who's the best with a better character would always win.
Because hard work cannot defeat hard work coupled with natural advantages
Some games have a ton of characters, with many of them being hard to actually get a feel for. Some good examples are Venom and Rachel, who you'll just have no idea what they're even doing as newcomers, so asking someone actually experienced with the game would help with that. Otherwise you're bound to only be drawn to newcomer-friendly characters because you can actually manage to do something with them right off the bat.
Personally I just look stuff up about them myself usually. Even if I don't really go into a game with the mindset of wanting to play the "same style" of character as I do in other games, but I often end up doing so anyway.
>>376808276
Sounds boring though.
>oh Tekken 6 is out
>who the fuck are THESE new characters??
>worm arab?
>chainsaw waifu?
>FAT FUCK?!
>"wait anon, that "fat fuck" is literslly broken tier, get good at him.
>......... O-okay....
No. Id rather struggle knowing i did it for me.
