Not those kinds, but I often rewrite plots in my head to get rid of plotholes and have evenwritten fic to overhaul entire games with good gameplay but shitty story.

Is it really even a simulation if there's no collision?
I get that ideally a race has minimal or no collision, but how exciting is it to drive in circles with marginal changes in acceleration and handling?
You can keep the simulation integrity, and still make a shitton of money by letting people take mini-vans off of ramps or crash mini-coopers.
That stuff becomes even more fun if there's an ethos of credibility and realism to the simulation.
Like I don't give a shit about real racing, but I might consider buying a GT game if it let me do stupid stuff with real cars and real physics, and none of that would compromise the actual racing.
What are they trying to accomplish?
Madden-style updates to car physics and rosters without adding any actual content to the experience?

Dude there are a whole bunch of car games out there for you to play. Don't get hung up on this one just because you can't play it.

A couple years ago I used to do these threads where /v/ would vote on vidya throughout the year and we'd have long, interesting discussions on each game for months until the closest thing to a consensus could be achieved, and by the end of the year we'd have a pretty good image of /v/'s opinion on dozens of games.
Given how good this year seems to have been so far, I figured it might be a good time to revive this. For now we can nominate vidya for discussion and get some very early results. Rankings WILL change right up until the very end of the year, and the point is actually good discussion about vidya instead of rampant shitposting. If you think game X deserves rank Y, give actual reasons why and debate.

Totally not for me. Everyone was stereotypical archetypes and had anime sameface. Combat was dull as fuck too.
Loads to craft tho - so if farming and crafting is your jazz, you might like it.

I wanted to try out Duke Nukem again and I heard the Megaton Edition was pretty sweet. Searched up and down for a legitimate copy and learned that Gearbox ended their distribution policy with Devolver Digital, which means that every edition of Duke Nukem that isn't Randy Pitchford's shitty "World Tour" edition is no longer available for purchase. Apparently this has rendered a lot of mods unplayable, though I'm not entirely sure how true that is.
Either way, does Pitchford have to be such an unrelenting cunt about absolutely fucking everything? You have allegations that he embezzled money from Sega, he acts like a petulant shitstain to his critics on Twitter, and there are loads of criticisms you can level towards the Borderlands games. Pitchford hasn't done anything positive for over a decade and I can't even play the version of Duke Nukem that I want to without piracy.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the Megaton Edition? Should I just pirate it? Even if the mods work on the World Tour version, I'm not sure if I even want to hand a single dollar over to the cunts running Gearbox now.
