If I hadn't already dropped it, I would drop it based on that pic alone. He's Poseidon. It's Poseidon's trident. What the fuck even is that called in the picture? How do you fuck this up?

These two come to mind as the only movies I've seen that were actually worth the ticket price. I saw Fury Road in iMax and the action felt perfectly paced, especially the first half hour. I saw Green Room inma tiny indie theatre but it felt like the perfect venue for this flick. It felt almost claustrophobic knowing you had to just sit there and go along for the ride, and I've never been so on edge during a film.

Let me guess, you are about 16 years old with about a 95 IQ?
>>79286728
>Fury Road
>good
No. Also
>iMax

Green Room was trash, most over rated movie of 2016
Agree with Fury Road though
Hi, I'm Michael Haneke. I am a director of such subversive and thought-provoking cinemas as Cachay and Funny Games. I have a severe hatred for modernity, and the West in general. I think white, upper-class Europeans need to take a step back and examine their choices, realizing how everything they do effects others across the world. Romanian people, Somalian people, I could go on. I have an upcoming film called "Happy End" which will examine the microagressions leveled by upper-class French to the migrants, who are on the receiving end of such indignities on a daily basis. My magnum opus is The White Ribbon, a chilling work of critical theory which posits the rise of German fascism was a result of evil puritanical Christians. I hate Christians, almost as much as I hate Europeans. And modernity. And the Western hemisphere. #RefugeesAreWelcomeHere
DUDE VIOLENCE IS BAD LMAO
Haneke's flicks are pretty dope actually
>>79286683
Is he, dare I say, greatest living director?
What's the best bigfoot doc?

Have you seen The Hateful Eight and if so, why do you prefer Django?
In the 1938 movie Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn, the Guy Of Gisbourne makes an unusal tactical decision to take all the King's tax revenue through Sherwood Forest, a place he knows Robin Hood, a man who steals taxes, resides. Once in the forest, he allows his large host of soldiers to go on ahead while his horses get stuck in mud, thusly making it easy for Robin to rob the tax money. What would you do differently, if anything, if you were tasked in moving the tax money and what do you think of Guy of Gisbourne's actions?
25 mins in and the film is corny, boring and predictable. Does it get better?
fuck yeah
>>79286340
> this true story is predictable.

Just turn your brain off
How many episodes is an appropriate number to watch when giving a show a chance? I usually say two just because it's more than one, but that often doesn't seem enough.
I'm up to episode 8 of Mr. Robot now, and it's just now getting interesting.
I gave up on Lost after 10 episodes.
Black Sails had me hooked from the start, but that may have been because i was crushing on Hannah New.
>>79286339
Also, mfw i watch all of ER. And soon Grey's.
I gave up on The Magicians without finishing the season. It had some interesting moments but overall it wasn't executed well and none of the characters were likable.
It took me a while to get into GoT. Like 3 or 4 episodes before the weird names and 100 characters started sinking in.
Most movies I see nowadays have bland a nd underwhelming representations of grief, rage, deep sadness, desperation, etc
What are movies/actors that show these emotions properly?
